‘Gossip Girl’s’ Leighton Meester will have a debut album this spring to promote and the budding songstress is eager to let fans know it’s not just mainstream pop.

“The music is very fun,” Meester, 22, tells February’s Teen Vogue. “It’s edgy, like electro-pop rather than bubblegum, and you can dance to it.”

Sounds a little Gwen Stefani-ish to me, which is good!
