Dakota Fanning To Join ‘Twilight’ Sequel?

Oh those rumours! First it was Vanessa Hudgens being cast as Leah Clearwater (which is being denied by Hudgens’s publicist,) now it’s Dakota Fanning’s turn. Fanning is said to have been offered, no audition needed, the role of Jane - the evil vampire of the Volturi gang.
According to E! Online’s Marc Malkin the 14-year-old — who turns 15 on Feb 23 — has already been offered the part as Jane in New Moon, the follow-up to the smash hit movie.
“There were no auditions,” a source told the site. “They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. They’ve been going back and forth.”
That would make this quite a year for the teen. Dakota has a number of movies out this year, including Coraline and Push, both due this month.

Dakota Fanning would rock the role of Volturi’s vampire vixen, Jane. I sincerely hope the negotiations end well and she will join the cast of New Moon for the sequel to Twilight. She is perfect for the part and has all the talent to pull it off.
