Actress Dakota Fanning, who will be Jane of the Volturi family, was spotted leaving Vancouver after shooting her scenes for the much anticipated Twilight movie “New Moon”.

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson turns 23 today May 13, 2009. Robert was born in London, England and first started his career modeling but what he really wanted to do was act. Robert played Cedric Diggory in the movie “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” and is the star of the Twilight series playing the role of a teenage vampire Edward Cullen.

Disney star Demi Lovato looked absolutely stunning in her black stylish minidress and high heels arriving at the 2010 Honorary Ambassador of Education Awards in LA yesterday. Demi took home the award for Honorary Ambassador of Education!!

Actress Selena Gomez, who is rumored to be dating Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner, graces the cover of the latest issue of Teen Vogue Magazine. Selena opens up about love, music and her BFF Demi Lovato. Here are some highlights from Selena Gomez’s Teen Vogue interview:

On picking a partner: “I used to say that I wanted someone cute and nice, an actor too, so he’d get it. But now I think it would be good for me to date someone who’s not in the business. I want someone honest, someone who’s very sweet to my family and friends, and polite to the other people around me. Being cool, having a ‘cool’ energy, is just not attractive to me…I’ve learned that I want what I deny. I want someone who is crazy about me, who treats me like a princess. I want the picture-perfect fairy tale stuff.”

On friendship with her Disney co-star Demi Lovato: “Demi and I have always been there to support each other. I’ve probably listened to 100 of her songs, and she came to every single taping of my show the first season. We’re both surrounded by adults 24/7, and we have to act professional, but when we’re together we can just be sixteen—we watch movies and talk about boys and do each other’s hair and makeup. We both go through a lot, so it’s nice to know that no matter what, I’ll always have her.”

On her upcoming “techno-pop-rock” album: “It’s what I’ve gone through with heartache, friendships, and things like that. I want my fans to know me a little bit better after they hear this record.”

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester shows off her sexy bikini body at the beach in Los Angeles on Sunday. I don’t think we have seen Leighton in a bikini before but wow she looks hot! Leighton has been busy working on her debut album and new movie project “The Roommate”.

Jessie James is ready to become the next pop princess. Her debut album comes out this Spring/Summer and the first single is “Wanted” (music video below). The music is pretty upbeat and fun and Jessie reminds me of a teenage Christina Aguilera.

Jessie James’ Bio: “I have too many fantasies to be a housewife. I don’t care about the money, I just want to be wonderful. I’m not rebellious, I just dont like doing what I’m told. Denim brand Diesel held a launch party for it’s new fragrance, Only The Brave and Vanessa Hudgens attended the star studded event. Super cute Vanessa posed patiently for the paparazzi in Diesel jeans.

Let me just start by saying, these two need another outlet for all the pent up anger they seem to have towards each other. Having said that, I know you guys can’t get enough of it based on the amounts of comments we get to these stories so here goes yet another:

It seems Joe Jonas is striking back at his songwriting ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift. In the Jonas Brothers new single Paranoid, there is a reference to a former gf who many believe to be Taylor.

“Caught in a nightmare/Can’t wake up/That’s why my ex is still my ex/I never trust a word she says/I’m running all the background checks/And she’s freaking out.”

Listen to Paranoid here – do you think it’s about Taylor? Sounds pretty vague to me – I’m officially bored by this feud. Anyone else still care?

Nickelodeon is stepping up efforts to compete with the Disney Channel for your time and viewership. The cable channel is giving the go-ahead to more shows with live actors versus animated series. Now that Drake and Josh and Zoey 101 have ended, Nickelodeon is trying to fill that gap and help their very popular iCarly  and True Jackson, VP by surrounding it with other teen oriented shows. The new series ‘The Troop’ has some sci-fi and action adventure to keep you tuned in.

“Troop,” [...] follows Jake (Nick Purcell), a typical teenager struggling through adolescence who dreams of creating his own comic book. When his school counselor (John Marshall Jones) recruits him into the Troop — a secret society that protects the world from the monsters that walk among us — Jake suddenly discovers a whole new existence. He teams with the smart, athletic and popular Hayley (Gage Golightly) and annoying paranormal expert Felix (David Del Rio) to take on monster missions.”

Taylor Swift took a break from her Fearless tour and made a stop in Chicago to tape an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show. The 19 year old country music singing sensation suprised a fan during Oprah’s final show in the series “Oprah’s Search for the World’s Smartest and Most Talented Kids.” The segment will air on May 18th so set your DVR’s.
