Actor Robert Pattinson was reportedly hit by a cab while trying to run away from crazy fans after leaving the Strand Bookstore on Broadway and 12th Street in New York City. Girls, calm down!! Robert is fine!

Rob just got hit in the hip but was promptly rescued by his bodyguards who were trying to keep the hysterical fans away from the Twilight heartthrob. One of his guards screamed to the fans: “You see what you did, you almost killed him!”

Robert is currently filming his new movie “Remember Me” in New York.
