Rachelle Lefevre Out As Victoria In ‘Eclipse’

Surprising news today as Summit Entertainment announced it will replace Rachelle Lefevre as the meanie Victoria in the third film ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse.’ In comes Bryce Dallas Howard as the newest redhead to menace damsel in distress Bella, played by Kristen Stewart. Adding fuel to the gossip fire is the reason Summit has publicly announced - conflict of schedules. Lefevre is stunned by that response and had this to say:
“I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me,” she says.
Summit said the actress was leaving because of a scheduling conflict with her upcoming film Barney’s Version, which begins filming the same day as Eclipse.
But Lefevre says her commitment to the indie film was only less than two weeks. “Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap.”
No contract disputes that anyone is owning up to, this makes this recasting of the role very suspect. I find it hard to believe that Lefevre and Summit couldn’t have worked this out - I believe Jackson Rathbone was working on ‘The Last Airbender’ with M. Night Shyamalan while ‘New Moon’ filmed.
Now, note the connection - six degrees of Hollywood - Rachelle Lefevre stars with Jackson Rathbone (in ‘Twilight’ and ‘New Moon’) who worked with M. Night Shyamalan in ‘The Last Airbender’ who directed Bryce Dallas Howard in ‘The Village’ who replaces Lefevre in ‘Eclipse.’
Taylor Lautner - good thing you got muscular quick - Summit appears to have no problem with continuity of actors between films. Robert Pattinson will have another actress to snarl at when ‘Eclipse’ starts filming in August.

Why? Why? Why did they replace Victoria while herself wasn’t even informed in advance! God they can’t do this can they? No way Jose I like the original Victoria and if she’s replaced then it’d e so weird…..I can’t accept it…….They get no reason to do so!!!!!!!!!!!

Ayla: the woman who is playing her now is who they wanted 2 begin with but the part “wasnt long enough” for her i say if she didnt want 2 play the person in the 1st part of the saga then she shouldnt play the second part !! its wroung 2 do Rachelle they played her n the 1st part she should play n the 2nd its stuipd !! totally just not right !!! the woman thats playing her now is n her 40s from looks an victory is sappose 2 b n her 20s !!!! the woman is 2 old 2 play the part im sorry but the truth hurts
