After a four year absence, the cable music channel VH1 is trotting out it’s concert show, VH1 Divas. Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis and Adele have been announced as performers for this year’s event.

What do you think of these choices? I have to say, while I enjoy these artists, the Divas shows were legendary because they chose a diverse group of female musicians who’ve STOOD THE TEST OF TIME. None of these performers qualify. Three, four or even five years just isn’t the same as decades of hard work, being recognized by your peers continuously, and fighting the ups and downs of a fickle public and music business. I think it will be a fun concert, but nothing amazing. Too bad that they can’t come up with another way to get this group of gals together and not put them in the same category with Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Cher, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Cher, Stevie Nicks, Tina Turner etc…

Yep, it is true! Trace Cyrus, Miley Cyrus’ older brother, just confirmed he and Demi Lovato were involved in romantic relationship that didn’t work because they are so busy, traveling all time and their age difference. Trace is 20 and Demi is just 16 years old (yep, another Miley/Justin type of relationship that is not meant to last!).

“Demi is one of my good friends and I definitely became very, very close with her in the past few months, and it’s something I really wanted to make work. But unfortunately, we both have very busy schedules – we’re both on tour right now,” says the Metro Station singer, who is also brother to Miley Cyrus. “I’m always on the other side of the world and so is she, so it just seemed like something that can’t work out at this time.”

Despite the split, there are no hard feelings between the two. “We gave it a shot and that’s all you can do,” says Cyrus. “Every time I hung out with that girl or talked on the phone with her, it was amazing. She’s someone I can totally relate to.

“But she is a lot younger than me,” Cyrus, 20, adds of Lovato, 16. “When someone is that much younger, you’re looking for different things in relationships. Maybe when she’s older and we’ve both matured, we’ll be looking for the same thing and it can work out.”

Demi and Trace are still friends and he is open to pursue a relationship with her in the future when she is more mature. I think they may have actually made a cute couple… too bad we never got to see them together!

Twilight fans who wanted Robert Pattinson to hook up with Nikki Reed are going to be sorely disappointed (granted they were in the minority.) Reed has apparently found her way to Paris Latsis, the heir to a Greek shipping fortune who was engaged to Paris Hilton a couple of years ago. The duo has been flying uner the radar for quite some time and now things are serious enough that they have met each other’s parents.

“They met about six months ago and have been together since. The reason she traveled over to Greece was to be with [Paris],” spills a supertight bud to Nik. And we mean supertight.

Remember when we told you why N.R. was skipping out on Italy back in May? Well, she wasn’t only spending time with her family, but it seems that she was introducing them to Mr. and Mrs. Latsis, too!

“Both families have met, and really like each other. That’s how serious it’s getting between [Nikki and Paris],” ‘fesses a good friend of the couple. “Robert Pattinson is nowhere on the radar. She’s upgraded, in her mind.”

Hopefully Reed and Latsis are as happy as reported.

Bonnie Wright has been growing up in front of the Harry Potter audience, just like her more famous co-stars Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. Now 18, she is coming into her own both personally and professionally. As her character Ginny Weasley has a greater importance to the overall HP story, Wright is doing more publicty and has stepped in front of the camera for a fashion shoot for Grazia Magazine. Fashionably dressed for the premieres in London and New York, the actress uses her clothes to express herself.

‘I wanted two totally different looks,’ she said. ‘Miu Miu is more of a fun, London, fashion-forward idea and for New York it was more elegant.

‘I see the red carpet as an opportunity to show people the real me. My character is perceived as the mousy younger sister and it’s nice to break away from that – but it took me such a long time to decide what to wear.’

Wright is headed to university in the fall and will study film and tv at London’s University of the Arts.

I’m glad to see more of the other Potter teens step out and do more interviews.

I believe we were all excited to see Dakota Fanning’s Jane of the Volturi for the first time in what we thought was an official “New Moon” poster. It turned out to be a really good Photoshop job done with one photo of Dakota for a Gap advertising campaign, which was created by one Twi-hard fan!

Here is a brand new promo picture of the Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner as teenage werewolf Jacob Black, who is completely in love with Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), in New Moon.

Jonas Brother Kevin Jonas is apparently enjoying the pleasures of being engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa or Mrs. Kevin Jonas II. Kevin and Danielle were seen getting hot and personal – he is grabbing her ass while her hand is dangerously placed near his target area! – at a softball game last weekend.

Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus’ older brother Trace Cyrus have been keeping a very public Twitter relationship for some time but it seems like things between them got a bit sour yesterday.

Demi via Twitter: “Now listen I think you and me have come to the end of our time. What’d ya want some kind of reaction? Well, okay that’s fine. ”

“I’m sorry, was that supposed to hurt? Hm… Oh well ”

Trace Cyrus’ reaction also via Twitter was: “I just got really confused… is it possible to breakup when you were never together with someone and only friends? Hmm this is new to me.”

“I miss the nights with u by my side. I hated the days I had to go away. I waited 4 u and u waited 4 me, I cant stay but I’ll never leave.”

It seems like there is some kind of misunderstanding but they are young and irresponsible. They still have plenty of time to find out what love really is…

Singer JoJo, best known for her hit singles “Leave (Get Out)” and “Too Little Too Late”, recently revealed while her career is on hold because of some problems with her record company she has been writing for herself and other artists.

JoJo wrote on her MySpace blog she is actually happy to be able to be more creative and explode herself as a songwriter by expressing her emotions in words.

JoJo said, “Anyways enough about that, like I said, Im sooooo happy to be out here working and exploring myself even more as a songwriter and a creator, whether the songs be written for myself or other artists Truly! Last night I really had a creative breakthrough and allowed myself to truly channel my feelings and emotions, whether they be good, bad, happy, or sad, onto paper and into song. I believe that when things are meant to happen, they will, and its inevitable that things will fall into place as they should. In the meantime, I get to hone in on other parts of myself, which in the end, will contribute to me as an artist all around.”

The 18 year-old singer is getting ready to release her third album titled “All I Want Is Everything”.

Actress Dakota Fanning will play the evil Jane of the Volturi in the new Twilight Saga movie “New Moon”. This is the first time we see Dakota’s Jane and doesn’t she look exactly as we imagined her!?!?
