Daddy Defends Miley Cyrus Pole Dancing

The controversial pole dancing segment of Miley Cyrus’ “Party In The USA” performance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards (photos) shocked parents and caused controversy but for super daddy Billy Ray Cyrus it’s all business.
Billy Ray told Access Hollywood, “You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people. She loves singing [and] songwriting.” He continued, “I always tell her to love what you’re doing and stay focused for the love of the art and not worry so much about opinion. I give my kids a lot of freedom to make the art they wanna make, and make it in their own voice.”
It’s easier to not give a straight answer about this subject. Miley is just sixteen years old. If she is pole-dancing now what will she do when she is 24!?! Will Miley Cyrus become just another wasted talent, a trainwreck!?! We sure hope not! Time for daddy to do something now before it is too late!

That’s just it, she DOESN’T have talent. And pole dancing! She’s supposed to be a role model to children, and she’s teaching children to be strippers! I wonder what’s going to happen to their generation with stars like Miley being their idols…

Nothing sells in Hollywood like a good girl gone bad. Miley is the latest to go this way after LiLo and Britney. When Miley hits 18, get ready for the total bad girl transformation. After that, I bet that Michael Jackson’s daughter will be the next teen queen three to four years from now. You heard it here first.

here guys have you actually seen the performance … because its not bad! she holds onto the pole so she doesn’t fall off the fricking ice cream truck thing she’s standing on while its moving!!!!

she has her own style which is a cross between rock punk and girly girl which i think is amazing and unique!!!!!

For those who call Miley Cyrus a prostitute or worse because they believe they have seen a photo of her pole dancing like a striper, I say before you spew your venom, know your facts. Look at the videos … she was dancing (and singing) and there was a pole, but it was NOT a pole dance. She had about 9 square feet of space and the pole was there to keep her from falling off. She had to keep moving - hello? its a dance song - and the photos taken just as she dipped her knees unfortunately make it looke like she is doing something age-inappropriate. But she’s not. Look at the videos. Her performance was entirely appropriate.
