Looking lovely in an elegant and lacy black pantsuit, (very old-school Katherine Hepburn glamour) Rumer Willis walked the red carpet for her latest film, Sorority Row – the remake of the 1983 slasher flick. Willis posed with her mother, Demi Moore and the two looked happy and beautiful together in the spotlight. The movie co-stars Briana Evigan, Audrina Partridge and Jamie Chung.

Check out the pic of her braids – so milkmaid-ish. I love it! I do wish she’d stop with that pose she does – (second pic below) it’s so stiff and unnatural looking.

Because things like this don’t happen to you or me, (and I certainly don’t wish it on anyone, let alone my most favorite redheaded royal) I thought I would recap what a strange week it must have been to be Prince Harry.

Starting off his week, a pair of inept burglars attempted to break in to the home he shares with his brother, Prince William, as they complete their military training in the Shropshire area of the UK. The wannabe thieves are believed to have been clueless to who lived at the special house with 24 hour surveillance and armed guards. Seriously… duh!

Then comes word the brothers may have had their phones hacked by journalists. Two years ago, a private investigator and a former editor from England’s News Of The World magazine were sent to prison for the breach of privacy of some aides and secretaries to members of The Royal Family including their father, Prince Charles. New evidence is suggesting that the princes’ phones may have been compromised as well.

Detective Chief Superintendent Philip Williams, from the Metropolitan Police, raised the possibility at the Commons Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee.

When asked if he suspected journalists had hacked into the princes’ mobile phones, Mr Williams told the committee: “Yes, I think they may well have done.”

While that is disturbing and creepy, Harry can breathe a bit easier as the Taliban chief who threatened his life has been assassinated. A member of the Australian military found his approved target and killed Mullah Abdul Karim. Karim stated that Harry was “… our special enemy” when the prince was deployed to the Helmand province of Afghanistan in March of 2008. Karim was reported to be a heavy recruiter for the Taliban, disrupting election procedures and directly responsible for many attacks. The Australians ended his life on August 10th, but are just releasing the information now.

On top of all of that, Princes Harry and William have the anniversary of the fatal Paris car crash that took the life of their mother on August 31st, 1997. Princess Diana is missed by many people all over the world but certainly no one feels the loss more than her two sons.

After all that, kudos to Harry for keeping a low profile and his head on straight while all the madness and sadness erupts around him.

In the upcoming release of the second film in The Twilight Saga, some characters with limited screen time will see their roles expanded. One fan favorite from the books was Jasper Hale, played by Jackson Rathbone, and he had a very small part in the first movie. That’s about to change. In New Moon and the now-filming third installment, Eclipse, Rathbone will have a chance to give depth to his Civil War Era human-turned-mood-altering-vampire.

“I’ve been studying up a lot on the Civil War and that era; it really was a crazy time, it was all-out war on our own turf and between countrymen,” Jackson told MTV News. “It’s an interesting time to see when Jasper was actually human, and what his human form was, and when he gets turned how intense and how dark he is. Then [we'll see] his realization of what he’s become, him finding Alice and being redeemed by love.”

In Eclipse, the Cullen family needs a leader and Jasper steps up to the plate to deliver the fighting techniques they’ll need to defeat Victoria’s army of blood thirsty newborns. Rathbone is given more substance to work with in the coming films and says that fans will get to see Jasper work his emotion calming magic in a school scene in New Moon. Jasper happens to be the character I like most and I’m looking forward to Jackson having more scenes in the next two flicks.

Disney star Miley Cyrus is clearly trying to distance herself from the good girl Hannah Montana image but she has done a lot of mistakes along the way. The majority of those mistakes that quickly turned into scandals are the result of lack of guidance from her parents.

Heroes hottie Hayden Panettiere was spotted out and about in her super tight hot pink short shorts working out to achieve the perfect cheerleader shape. Hayden is not wearing any makeup and still looking pretty good, don’t you think!?! Besides she is a real girl with real curves!

On set! Robert Pattinson apparently proposed to Kristen Stewart on set, which probably just means they were filming scenes for the new Twilight movie. On the other hand, the lovebirds are said to be quite openly flirty.

A source says: “If Kristen is looking for Rob, she’ll say, ‘Has anyone seen my husband?’ And Rob loves to say, ‘Have you met my lovely wife, Kristen?’ It’s cute. They’re like a couple of love-struck teenagers.”

There is also a rumor Kristen and Robert are buying a house and moving in together. Meanwhile, they are playing house at Robert’s suite at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre.

Ah! I hope I didn’t get your hopes up. The truth is there is only one Nick Jonas and he is Miley Cyrus’ property. You will see, those two will be back together in no time once Miley gets tired of making out with Liam Hemsworth (photos) and dating Carter Jenkins (photos).

But cheer up! The other “Nick” is, in fact, Joe Jonas and he is hot and single unless Brenda Song already claimed him… anyway girls, hurry up picking your single Jonas since Kevin Jonas is definitely out of the market because he is engaged to a lucky hairdresser named Danielle Deleasa (photos)!

Super cute, super hot Josh Hutcherson stars in a new movie titled “Vampire’s Assistant” which will hit theaters in October 2009. Josh plays Steve, the best friend of a young boy by the name of Darren Shan (Chris Massoglia) that becomes a vampire after meeting a mysterious man (John C. Reilly) at a freak show.

Josh has a very physical fighting scene with Darren, the young vampire (watch video below). Anyone read the book?? I’m curious to know if Josh’s character also becomes a vampire…

How many times does Kristen Stewart have to say she is not dating Robert Pattinson!?! A million times would not be enough because actions speak louder than words and we can all see the sparks going on between them, right!?!

Kristen said, “Robert and I are great friends but I understand why you would assume that, when we lean on each other for support, there must be something more. And I’m not criticizing anyone for thinking it either. If anything, they’re really perceptive because they can see a closeness.”

A closeness?? That’s how it’s called now!?! Closeness, love, lust… it’s all there and we are indeed really perceptive people. Anyway, I know what you guys are going to say: it doesn’t matter if Kristen and Robert are dating, we should just leave them alone!
