Selena Gomez was on the red carpet at the 7th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party in Los Angeles Friday night and was asked if she’d rather be a vampire or a werewolf. Her answer? Vampire! When Taylor Lautner was told of her response, he smiled and replied: “We’re definetly going to have a conversation.” High School Musical’s Monique Coleman also professed her love for Team Edward. What? No Team Jacob love on the red carpet?

More VJ news: Victoria will have a new show on Nick in 2010. Victorious will be produced by Dan Schneider, the same guy who made Drake & Josh and iCarly huge hits. She will join the original programming line up along with iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove & Keke Palmer of Tru Jackson VP. I think she will be a great addition to Nick’s TV shows.

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam is currently filming in Ontario Canada and according to costar Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Disney is stepping it up a notch.

“People are going to be surprised by Camp Rock 2,” Anna tells [OK! Magazine.] “It’s gonna be a good movie You’ll see amazing songs by the Jonas Brothers, Demi has an amazing song. Just bigger and better dance numbers. It’s more intense this time. It’s more of a musical, so people will look forward to that.”

The pressure is on Disney after the first Camp Rock was such a suprise hit but with Demi Lovato, The Jonas Brothers and all the original cast returning for the sequel, this movie should be great.

Wizards of Waverly Place star Jennifer Stone attended the 7th Annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party on Friday along with her co-star Selena Gomez (see Selena pics here.) The Disney star took a few moments to chat with Hollywire.com on the red carpet and talked about being a role model for young girls. (Check out her cute shoes – love the detail on the heels.)

This was a private show and before it started, the singer tweeted “I am so nervous!” Don’t worry Selena – looks like you did great!

Kristen Stewart brings out very strong opinions in people. Love her or hate her (and you do express your mind about her – loud and clear in our comments) Stewart is someone we are compelled to watch. The actress had a number of films under her belt before The Twilight Saga and Bella Swan ever looked her way including Panic Room, The Cake Eaters, Jumper, and Into The Wild.  ScreenStar.com has compiled the top “Five Reasons To Love Kristen Stewart.” According to ScreenStar they are as follows:

1. Strong-willed
2. Goofy
3. Intelligent
4. Dedicated
5. Bella Swan

I think these reasons are right on the money. Stewart is passionate about what she does and she isn’t afraid to show it. We applaud male actors for their candor and dedication but slam young actresses when they step outside of the “Hollywood Starlet” ideal: blond, bland and meek. I love that Kristen isn’t conventional and has the courage to speak her mind and do her own thing, not what other people think she should do.

Camp Rock 2 actress Demi Lovato is happy to be working with her friends The Jonas Brothers again and is even more excited for Kevin Jonas and his upcoming wedding to Danielle Deleasa. Tiger Beat asked her if she knew what she was going to wear to the wedding:

“I feel like maybe I’ll wear a wedding gown and be like, ‘What’s up guys. Oh! This isn’t my wedding?’ I’m just kidding,” Demi joked to us, “I don’t know what I’ll wear.”

Now that is funny!

Actress Ashley Greene, who was recently involved in a nude photo scandal, just joined Twitter (@AshleyMGreene). Ashley is the second Twilight star to join the popular social network, the first was Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen) and he even got Robert Pattinson to tweet for the first time (read more).
