From CNN’s Health Minute – a very short interview with Nick Jonas about his struggle with diabetes. As most of his fans know, the seventeen year old Jonas Brother was diagnosed four years ago and has since gone on to speak on Capitol Hill for funding and awareness. He has also become a paid spokesperson for Bayer products and you’ve probably seen his commercials for their insulin meter. Jonas has learned to balance his condition but mentions that sometimes his brothers have had to cover for him onstage. Check out the (too short) video above.

Cam Gigandet’s latest film is sci-fi thriller Pandorum, in theaters today, and our favorite Twilight villian gave CinemaBlend.com an interview with lots of good stuff in it.

He is happy to have been a part of the Twilight phenomenon, but is grateful it was only one movie, not all four. Gigandet said:

“…Me, myself, I wasn’t interested in doing that for the rest of my life. It was kind of the perfect balance for that movie.”

For his role in Pandorum, (which is being kept secret because of a plot twist at the end,) the actor was able to work with movie veteran Dennis Quaid and ends up covered in goo for a nude scene which was uncomfortable for Gigandet:

“That was, yeah, one of the worst experiences. It wasn’t just because of the apparent nudity. They had to put this stuff on my body that was similar to what you’d get at an ultrasound. But it’s freezing cold. I couldn’t put a coat on or anything like that, so I just had to stand in this stuff. They built this heater around me, because literally every breeze that would fly through, I would freeze to my very core.”

Twin sisters Lisa & Jessica Origliasso, better known as The Veronicas, performed tonight at the  Koko in London. The duo recently spoke about their friendship with The Jonas Brothers and in particular, Joe Jonas is the go to guy for seriously cool music.

“Something people might not realize about Joe is that he has a mad playlist of great indie artists!” Lisa revealed to Mizz. “He loves to discover new music and always puts us on to some cool new bands.”

“I think people have this preconceived perception that they only listen to other Disney artists.”

They also mention they think Joe is the cutest of the JoBros. I know I know – some of you are die hard Nick fans – I’m just telling you what they think.

Heroes star Hayden Panettiere is reportedly fellow actor, Entourage star Kevin Connolly. Kevin and Hayden were recently seen getting cozy at the HBO Emmys after-party on Sunday (September 20).

An eyewitness even caught them holding hands, saying, “They were there to hang out together and stayed for hours until well after midnight. Kevin only left Hayden’s side towards the end of the night when he wanted to chat with someone at another table.”

After breaking up with co-star Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden has been romantically linked to Steve Jones (photos), Lindsay Lohan’s ex, Harry Morton, and now Kevin Connolly, who is 30 years old therefore within the actress’ preferred age range.
