The Vampire Diaries is coming to a critical part in the plotline – Elena (Nina Dobrev) pieces together that Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) are vampires. Here is the CW’s promo for this weeks ‘Lost Girls.’ This new episode will air Thursday night (10/15) at 8pm EST.

Vanessa Hudgens, Alex Pettyfer, Neil Patrick Harris and Mary Kate Olsen star in a modern retelling of the fairytale Beauty & The Beast.

In Beastly, Pettyfer plays the self absorbed good looking guy who has it all taken away from him by a curse and has to prove beauty is more than skin deep. Olsen gives him the hex that sets the plot in motion and Hudgens is the girl Pettyfer must get to look beyond his physical appearance. See some of the set pics here.

Selena Gomez is appearing in Glamour Magazine’s November edition wearing an LBD (little black dress) by Katy Rodriguez. The Wizards of Waverly Place actress upped her fashion ante by adding a Kate Spade bracelet and a long necklace by Fallon.

It’s not the most flattering shot of the Disney star – they are trying to give her a ‘rock n roll edge’ but her hair looks odd and it almost appears to have gray in it. The Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev is also pictured and she looks much better than Selena.

The theatrical release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon is still a month away yet from the amount of press Summit Entertainment is having the film leads do (Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner,) you’d think it was only a week to go. That being said here is yet another interview with Robert Pattinson. Not too much new information from the guy – he’s still uncomfortable with the media frenzy that surrounds him and he’s relieved to not be in New Moon as much as he was in Twilight. He does however delve a bit into another project he has coming up with Hugh Jackman; Unbound Captives. The actor hung out with Jackman in Japan (both were promoting movies) and Pattinson said:

“We went karaoke singing,” he laughs. “We were singing Abba songs, it was pretty funny. It was sort of an Abba song sing-off, you know, last man standing.”

Who won? “I think he did, only because he can drink more than me and still sing in tune. He’s a cool guy and I’m really looking forward to that film.”

Captives sounds like a great departure for Rob. The film is a western set in the late 1800′s about a woman who has to search for her two kidnapped sons. It will also star Rachel Weisz and is currently slated to begin filming at the end of the year.

Pattinson’s other non-Twilight project, Remember Me with Emilie de Ravin and Pierce Brosnan is due out in February of 2010. In case you’ve forgotten, New Moon is due out November 20th.

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus explained once again why she deleted her Twitter account but this time she got serious and urged her fans to get out of the cyberspace and enjoy the good things in life because life truly is too short. [Watch Miley Cyrus 'Good-bye Twitter' Rap Video]

“To my dearest fans,

You all are the closest thing to my heart & it breaks my spirit to hear that some of you feel neglected since I deleted my twitter. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to you & I really felt like during that time we became very much like friends. Twitter is a beautiful thing if used for the right reason. I love my job so much that it is hard to believe sometimes that it is considered “working. But, in the end it is still a business and I do need some sort of a “normal” life as well. I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don’t seem to have much of a private life any more and part of that is my fault. How can I whine about my life being to public if I am the one telling the world what I am doing? Some things in my life need to say in my life only and not on some gossip site. I never want any of my fans to feel like I don’t love them or care about them BUT, sharing the same love and respect for me I need to have the space to grow as a person and make some mistakes. I need to be able to live and learn in private. I never want to quit entertaining it is my life, my love, and my passion but I can’t have my personal life be other peoples entertainment.

Twitter is not the only thing I am cutting back on. This is not an attack against this particular site, I just think kids all over the world could maybe take a little vacation from Cyberspace. My problem with the internet is it makes negativity so available. It allows people to anonymously hurt others without any consequences. That is not the real world. Not only that, but if we spent more time enjoying what we are doing besides tweeting about it, we would enjoy our lives a whole lot more. I have very little free time and the moments that I do have I should be spending with my family and friends and loving every minute of their company.

Now of course rumors have been started that Liam is the reason that I deleted my twitter. I hope my true fans know how stupid that is. I had mentioned to him that someone made a fake twitter with his name and we both starting chatting about how ridiculous it is. Liam is a wonderful friend and he did not try to make me delete my page, he just helped me realize how much time I was wasting on that site.

I really hope you all know how much you mean to me and how much I truly care about each and every one of you. I will keep in touch through Mileyworld and MileyCyrus.com as I did before twitter. I love you all.

Actor Robert Pattinson has had enough of insane fan attention and he is clearly trying to pass the hot potato to fellow actor Taylor Lautner, who plays teenage werewolf Jacob Black, by saying that Taylor is the BIG star of the new Twilight Saga movie, “New Moon”, which comes out November 20.

RPattz said, “I’m not the lead in the second film. Taylor is. I appear in Bella’s dreams. So I’m in it but the focus is not on me. I just have significant moments at the beginning and the end. So I’m more of a supporting role in this one which is why I feel so free.”

Robert clearly wants to be real actor and the screaming fans and sex symbol status won’t faze him. “I don’t take any of it seriously. It’s just a job and while it’s a job I love, girls scream out for Edward, not Robert. I still can’t get a date,” Rob said. We find it really hard to believe no one wants to date Robert… maybe it is Kristen Stewart who doesn’t want to date him!

Stepping out to The Art Of Elysium: GENESIS event held at HD Buttercup in Los Angeles, Julia Jones looked relaxed and fabulous on the red carpet. The New Moon actress attended the celebration of the LA based organization that “encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions. We provide artistic workshops in the following disciplines: acting, art, comedy, fashion, music, radio, songwriting and creative writing.”

The actress, who is playing Leah Clearwater, will be back in Vancouver to work on more scenes in the third Twilight installment: Eclipse.

Actor Penn Badgley, who is currently dating his co-star Blake Lively (photos), offers great advice on how to build a good, strong and lasting relationship. Passion and trust are the most important.

“Passion is number one and trust is number two,” says Penn. “You need to start with a passionate connection, and if you can maintain it and cultivate it, that’s most important. Then trust can develop. I have both now, and it’s been an incredible thing.”

Awww!! Blake is one lucky girl! The Gossip Girl actor is so romantic and he even knows how to cook some exotic, spicy dishes to make a girl go hmmmm…

“Earlier this year I went to Thailand and took some cooking classes,” he reveals. “I learned how to make classic Thai dishes, which are exotic, spicy and quick and easy to make-and a rare thing to cook for a woman. I made a yellow curry with pineapple. I think pineapple is very sexy. It reminds me of bikinis and the beach.”

Pineapple is definitely sexy (and healthy) but not as sexy as Penn!
