Actor Zac Efron is the new cover guy for the latest issue of Nylon Guys Magazine (November 2009). The 21 year-old, who has been dating his HSM co-star Vanessa Hudgens since they first started back in 2005, talks about his new movie, music and fame.

Here are some highlights from Zac Efron’s Nylon Guys interview:

On Me and Orson Welles. “It’s the first time I’ve ever watched a movie [that I’m in] and in the end I’m like, ‘OK! I didn’t check my watch once!’”

On growing up musically inclined. “I was constantly singing. I would hear things on the radio and just be able to spit them out instantly, with perfect memorization and tone. It wasn’t like I took pride in it; there was no effort. My parents were like ‘Shut up. Please stop singing. It’s annoying.’”

On whether celebrity albums are necessary. “If anyone asked themselves that, then we wouldn’t have the crap we are listening to today. If your heart’s not in it, don’t do it. And don’t do it for money. That’s my philosophy.”

On Disney fame. “I try not to look at all of it. You can’t enjoy or celebrate it; it’s not a real thing. The face on the lunchbox and shit—you can’t share that with your friends.”

“Wizards Of Waverly Place” star Selena Gomez, who is currently promoting her brand new album “Kiss & Tell”, visited “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” on Wednesday (October 7).

The 17 year-old revealed that what she missed the most about Texas is eating pickles and popcorn at the movies. That is an odd combination! Anyone here does pickles and popcorn too?? Is it good?? Seriously??

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus completely deleted her Twitter account on Wednesday night (October 7), which turned out to be a complete disappointment for her loyal fans. Apparently, “The Last Song” co-star, Liam Hemsworth, who does NOT have a Twitter account, asked her to.

One of Miley’s last tweets read, “FYI Liam doesn’t have a twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason.” Liam and Miley are dating but he did not know how to handle all the negative feedback and criticism.

Miley tweeted nonstop and used Twitter to solve personal issues. There was a simpler way to solve the problem and keep everybody happy, especially her fans, if she just used Twitter for business and to communicate with her real fans: no love messages and no tweet convos with @perezhilton, @heidimontag and @spencerpratt.

Kristen Stewart will grace the November cover of Allure Magazine (some of the photo shoot happened back in June and you can see those shots here.) The actress is of course, promoting The Twilight Saga: New Moon and has this to say about her character Bella Swan:

“You’re so very much with Bella. You’re so in her shoes that it’s a vicarious experience. It’s addictive.”

Stewart also doesn’t understand why people criticize her about how she looks:

“I go outside, and I’m wearing a funky T-shirt and my hair is dirty, and people say, ‘What’s wrong with her? She needs to invest in a hairbrush.’ I’m like, Don’t you get it? I’m not that girl! I never was that girl. It’s not like I was really clean-cut last year.”

I like Kristen’s style and attitude a lot. She is not like the majority of young girls in Hollywood and has her own way of looking at things. She is passionate about acting not about being a celebrity. Five Reasons to Love Kristen Stewart is right on the money as far as I’m concerned.

Country singing sensation Taylor Swift was recently quoted as saying she would be designing a line of clothing for British retailer Marks & Spencer. Swift told SplashNews via MSN:

“Yeah, I’m coming out with dresses that are inspired by the sundresses I wear.”If I was going to put out dresses, I wanted them to be affordable, especially with the economy doing what it’s doing, so I’m really excited that we’ve accomplished that.”

However, the powers that be at M & S seem to be unaware of the possible partnership. Company reps told SplashNews the following:

“M&S currently have no plans to collaborate with Taylor Swift on a range of summer dresses as misreported in a recent interview. We always look to bring the most exciting and innovative ranges to suit our customers and such collaborations may be something we look to do in the future.”

Well, which is it? Perhaps Taylor just got ahead of herself or the deal fell through – whichever, for now it seems no clothing line coming from her, other than her L.E.I. sundresses.

The We Day Concert, organized by Free the Children, is an annual event to bring global change through the youth of the world. The Toronto based organization provides information and help raises funds for impoverished kids around the world. Things we take for granted: clean drinking water, medical care, vaccinations, and education opportunities.

This year’s concert had surprise guests in The Jonas Brothers who performed on stage in front of the 16,000 fans. Justin Bieber performed his hit ‘One Time’ and the crowd sang along with the pop sensation. Check out his live performance below.
