The brand new episode, “Bloodlines” of our favorite TV show “The Vampire Diaries” premieres on January 21st, 2009. Yeah, we don’t know how we will survive until then but CW presented us with a short clip with scenes from the new episode during the VD marathon week (from December 14 to December 18).

Are you wondering what is going to happen to Elena (Nina Dobrev) after she hit someone on the road who gets up, revealing to be a vampire, and seems to be heading towards her to attack her!?! Well. if you want to know some details about what is going to happen, check the spoilers below!

In “Bloodlines”, Stefan and Damon‘s long lost sister, Maria comes for a visit and seeks revenge. It is up to the brothers to stop her before the truth is out. The mysterious man Elena meets on the road after a big car accident reveals that he is a vampire, and Elena is bitten by him, which Stefan learns later, forcing him into revenge against the unknown killer. Also, a new witch comes to town, Alyssa.
