On Tuesday January 12, 2010 he gathered his GG guys and gals for a launch party celebrating the success of the book. Jessica Szohr, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Blake Lively and Michelle Trachtenberg were among those who turned out.

Kristen Stewart’s turn in the indie film The Yellow Handkerchief has been sitting around waiting for studio distribution. Shown at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008 and now that she has become a huge international star thanks to The Twilight Saga, TYH will get released this winter, February 26th.

Alex Pettyfer may not be well known in the United States yet, however the seriously gorgeous 19 year-old Brit is hitting the big screen stateside with Vanessa Hudgens and Mary Kate Olsen in Beastly this summer and that will probably change. The actor was also named as one of Britain’s Hottest Younger Actors in the February issue of GlamourUK. Here is an excerpt:

Boobs are a pit-stop on the way to a better place. I’m an arse man. And legs. I like boobs too, though — don’t get me wrong.

We never fancy girls who fart. If they burp or fart or swear or whatever, it can be a turn-off. but if she’s a good friend, then it’s accepted.

We do crazy things for love. I got a girl’s name tattooed on my ring finger because I was in love. We’ve broken up, but I don’t live in regret.

Pettyfer’s upcoming retelling of the classic Beauty and The Beast story will hit theaters in the US July 30 and the UK on October 1st. Anyone else looking forward to this? I know I am.

Actress/singer Ashley Tisdale, who is working on some major projects for her Blondie Girl Productions, was spotted wearing a simply beautiful bright blue dress, black tights and flat boots while arriving at LA Studios in Hollywood on Tuesday (January 12).

“The Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev is one very stylish girl who confesses to make her own jewelry with antique silverware (what?) and be inspired by 19th century style. The 21 year-old had such a fresh and cool look that the show creators adapted her own personal style for her character. Funny! I always thought Elena had a fabulous fashion sense…

Here are some highlights from Nina Dobrev’s Self Magazine interview:

On being a leather lover: “The creators [of Vampire Diaries] adapted my personal style for Elena. We both wear KRMA leather jackets all the time.”

On making her own jewelry: “I was in a diner when my fork bent out of shape. So, I wore it as a bracelet! Now I look for antique silverware to make into jewelry.”

On taking inspiration from the 19th Century: “I also love fashion from the 1800s. The hoop skirts, the silk and velvet…they were breathtaking. Literally! I’ve learned that when I’m wearing a corset, breathing is a luxury.”

Actor Robert Pattinson seems to be the favorite to replace Tobey Maquire in the role of Peter Parker in the upcoming sequel of Spider-Man, “Spider-Man 4”. The movie will focus on the superhero high school years and who’s better than Robert for that role? If the movie producers want to captivate a younger audience, there are only two choices Rob or Taylor Lautner! And Taylor is already set to become Max Steel!

According to OK!, Michael Cera and Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford have also been considered for the role. Meanwhile Robert is busy shooting “Bel Ami” and the last movie of the Twilight Saga, “Breaking Dawn” should also be filmed in 2010.
