Beautiful Australian actress Mia Wasikowska has been chosen as Teen Vogue’s March cover model. The star of Tim Burton’s upcoming 3-D movie Alice in Wonderland is striking with her newly cropped pixie hair and porcelain skin. Wasikowska (pronounced Va-shee-kov-ska) tells Teen Vogue:
On Alice in Wonderland‘s updated version:“I really think it will be exciting, especially for girls my age because it explores that period of your life when you have these expectations upon you and you’re finding that, amongst that, you have to try and hold on to yourself.”
On her A-list co-stars:“Working with Johnny Depp was great—I was a little starstruck.”
Mia is part of an incredible cast of actors that Burton has assembled: Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen, Alan Rickman and Anne Hathaway will all bring this modern version of the classic tale to theaters March 5th.
Wasikowska’s cover is due out February 9th.
