While waiting for The Vampire Diaries to return with new episodes (March 25th), producer Julie Plec is serving up a slice of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) & Elena (Nina Dobrev) heaven for fans who are Team Damon – from EW’s Ask Ausiello:

Question: I am dying here without Vampire Diaries! Please give us some scoop on the Damon-Elena relationship because I am loving it! —Ash
Ausiello: Then prepare to love this season’s final strong of episodes, which exec producer Julie Plec tells me will be heavily focused on the pair. “We’ll see Damon start to look at Elena as more than just his brother’s girlfriend or the doppelganger to the love of his life,” she reveals. “He’ll start to love and understand her as a human being, which is ironic because Damon could typically give a s–t about anything involving humanity. It’s some good stuff.”

Selena Gomez spent some time with a New Zealand radio station talking about her music, her friends (or frenemies – depending how you look at it) Demi Lovato, Taylor Lautner, Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus. She is a pro at not really answering any questions directly.

Shailene Woodley will have a pretty infamous guest appearing on her hit ABC Family TV show. The Secret Life Of The American Teenager will see Bristol Palin in a cameo spot this summer during the show’s third season. The daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, Bristol will play a friend of Amy’s (Woodley) at a music program for teen mothers. No word on Levi Johnston (Bristol’s baby’s daddy) showing up to spoil the scene.

Kristen Stewart had another photo op: this time at the Burberry Prorsum London Fashion Week show.

The actress has had a great week professionally in the UK – the Elle Style Awards (winner of Woman of the Year) and the BAFTA’s (winner of the Orange Rising Star award.) She attended the fashion runway show along with her Twilight costar Jamie Campbell-Bower and his girlfriend, Bonnie Wright – pics here.

Bonnie Wright hit the London Fashion Week Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2010 on February 23rd. The Harry Potter actress attended the Women’s Wear runway show with her boyfriend, Jamie Campbell-Bower. The twosome were also spotted earlier in the week at the BAFTA awards.

The 31st Annual Young Artist Awards, held by the Young Artist Foundation, will take place April 11th at the Beverly Garland in Studio City, California. The foundation, which offers support and scholarships to financially and physically challenged young people who want a future in the entertainment industry, announced it’s nominees for this year’s ceremony.

Demi Lovato, Emma Roberts, Taylor Lautner, Miley Cyrus, Dakota Fanning, Selena Gomez, Miranda Cosgrove, Abigail Breslin, Saoirse Ronan, and Jake T. Austin are among those up for awards.

Sweet sixteen it is for Dakota Fanning today, February 23rd. The star of the upcoming film The Runaways, celebrated over the weekend with a dinner in Beverly Hills. Happy Birthday to Dakota!

Selena Gomez is a ray of sunshine in the latest issue of Emmy magazine. The Wizards of Waverly Place actress revealed her magical wish list, how much she admires Rachel McAdams and how working with UNICEF has changed her:

On working and doing good for UNICEF: “I’m able to educate my fans, and I was able to educate myself. It was a completely life-changing experience, very humbling for me.”

On Rachel McAdams: “She’s made some very smart choices and she’s never played the same character. She’s done Mean Girls, The Notebook, Red Eye. She was fantastic in all of them. I always go see her movies the first night they open.”

On what she would love to get with a little magic help: “Oh goodness. That’s hard. Man. Well, I think a boyfriend would be nice.”

Maybe Sel did get her magical wish with Nick Jonas?

Selena will be seen on the big screen as big sister Beezus in the adaptation of Beverly Cleary’s Ramona Quimby novels. Ramona and Beezus is out July 23rd.

“Hannah Montana” Miley Cyrus and “High School Musical” Zac Efron join Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, who are already on the carefully selected group of presenters for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards ceremony on March 7.

The presence of these four young rising stars serves the purpose of attracting a younger audience while trying to boost ratings for the show. That is a fantastic idea! We are only going to endure the torture of watching the Oscars, if we can see OUR favorites stars there!

FINALLY!!! Actor Robert Pattinson confirmed that he and his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart have been dating for months but have been trying to keep their relationship low-key because of their crazy lunatic fans. Kristen and Robert wanted to make their first appearance as a couple at the 2010 BAFTAs but for security reasons it was impossible.

Robert reportedly told The Sun, “It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes.

“We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event but it’s not easy.

“We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.”

The lovebirds were spotted leaving the awards’ ceremony together. Kristen won the Orange Rising Star BAFTA for her incredible past couple of years and Robert was cheering for her in the audience (watch Kristen’s acceptance speech here).

UPDATE: It seems like The Sun faked this interview with Robert. Robert was just heard saying that he should have been on the red carpet with Kristen (the two together! as Twilight couple not real couple!) but that wasn’t possible for security reasons.
