Miley Cyrus performed live for the first time “Robot” out of her upcoming album “Can’t Be Tamed” at Rock In Rio Lisbon on Saturday (May 29). This song is very similar to the first single “Can’t Be Tamed” – upbeat, empowering and it’s all about being yourself and not who people expect you to be.

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus performed live at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, Rock in Rio, held at Parque da Bela Vista in Lisbon, Portugal on Saturday (May 29). GossipTeen was there to see Miley live for the first time and we absolutely loved it. The 17 year-old is an incredible performer – she sings, she dances and interacts with the audience. She is amazing!

There were 88 thousand people to welcome Miley to the World Stage, including young children, teens and even grandpas and grandmas who love the Hannah Montana star. Miley kicked off the show with her brand new single “Can’t Be Tamed”. She looked extra sexy in a sexy green leotard, black leather jacket and high heels.

Miley is all grown up now, so there were lots of booty shaking, sexy dance moves and body contact/interaction with her dancers and her guitarist, who was a Justin Gaston-lookalike. When Miley stripped off her leotard, she came back in a sexy leather micro-top and ripped black jeans to perform a Joan Jett medley, which included “I Love Rock n’ Roll”, “Cherrybomb” and “Bad Reputation“.

During the concert, Miley sang some of her biggest hits, “Breakout”, “Seven Things”, “Fly On The Wall”, “When I Look At You”, “Party In The USA” and “The Climb”, and offered the fans a sneak peek of her new album. Miley performed live for the first time two of her new songs – “Robot” and “My Heart Beats For Love”.

Miley does not perform “Full Circle” very often, but decided to do it in Rock In Rio. The singer confessed the song is about two people very much in love who always manage to go full circle and get back together even when some very bad people want to keep them apart. Miley said, “Surprise, surprise. It’s about a Jonas Brother”. It’s about Nick Jonas!! What about Liam Hemsworth? Teen drama!

In the end, Miley thanked her thousands of fans for being such a wonderful crowd, promised to return soon and ended the show with “The Climb”. The show was followed by fireworks and the official anthem of the music festival. We loved it. Miley rocked it. Incredible show, amazing energy and some very special moments – it’s a 10 out of 10.

Miley will perform live at Rock In Rio Madrid (Madrid, Spain) on June 6.

The Vampire Diaries went out with a bang this season. Fingers and superpowered rings went flying, more burning vampires, the sad end of Anna (Malese Jow) and that kiss between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and (Nina Dobrev’s) Elena, err Katherine… How does the show top all of that for season 2?

Executive producer Julie Plec gives up some serious sophmore year scoopage: Elena and Katherine (related? check!) Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Matt (Zach Roerig) forge a friendship and the werewolves are coming! the werewolves are coming!

Plec says writer Kevin Williamson is working on getting all our favorite characters more involved in the overall mythology of the show: Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) and Jeremy (Steven R McQueen) will get more screen time – Yes!

I want to know – is there a Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Damon romance in this season? I can wait for season 3, if I must, but I am totally on Team Bamon.

The New Zealand magazine Girlfriend has Justin Bieber sitting pretty on the cover of it’s June issue.

Justin, who was recently in Australia, caused a bit of a stir when he made an appearance on the show “Sunrise” and told a show supervisor (who was trying to show Bieber where to stand,) “Don’t ever f’ing touch me again.”  For his part, JB denies this happened and responded on his Twitter:

“Family time with my mom couldn’t come at a better time….I was raised to respect others and not gossip…nor answer gossip with anger. I know my friends family and fans know the person I am. Hearing adults spread lies and rumors is part of the job I guess.”

Kristen Stewart has an intense dislike of how Twitter is used. In her interview with Flaunt magazine, the actress says how lousy it is for her to have her life turned upside down when someone tweets her whereabouts:

“If I could go to work every day and not have to be followed around by f**king fifteen gangsters trying to take my picture, willing to do anything for one… It’s not normal. It’s funny how in America fame is placed so f**king high—above wealth, above happiness, above everything. It’s so not true. And I knew that before [I was famous]. It was so obvious to me. I don’t know how people can’t see that from an outsider’s perspective. My perspective is the same: it’s exactly what I thought it would be.”

Speaking about a fan, Stewart offered this: “He was nice. He didn’t ask for a picture. That’s good, because then they go and Twitter them and then the paparazzi know where I am and they drive to my location and it gets crazy. Twitter f**ks me over every day of my life. Because people go, ‘I’m sitting next to Kristen Stewart right now’ and then they show up. I see people on their phones and I just want to take these cookies and throw them. It’s like ‘Get off your f**king phone and get a life!’ I get so mad. It’s like you’re trampling on someone’s life without any regard. And it’s rampant. Everyone can do it now. Buy a camera and you’re paparazzi; get a Twitter account and you’re an informant. It’s so annoying.”

Stewart has a point. She really has to be secretive and paranoid to be able to go to the drugstore let alone have a quiet evening with a friend (ahem, Robert Pattinson.)

The premiere of JONAS LA, the second season of The Jonas Brother’s hit Disney TV show is almost here. Sunday June 20th is the start date and here is a brief look at what is coming up.

Kevin, Joe and Nick (and Chelsea Staub) have relocated from New Jersey to Los Angeles and there will some great guest stars  - Emma Roberts and David Henrie!

Singer Miley Cyrus recently took some time off with her family to soak up the sun in a small tiny polka dot bikini during a short holiday in Mexico before heading to Europe, where she will be performing at Rio In Rio in Lisbon and Madrid (more pictures below).
