Emma Watson and Logan Lerman are inking deals to join The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The popular Stephen Chobsky novel is finally headed to the big screen with the author writing the screenplay and directing.

The story of Charlie (Lerman) is told through letters to an unknown friend as he struggles with growing up, depression, suicide, drugs, sexual coming of age and the feelings he develops for his friend Sam (Watson.) The book is often challenged or outright banned for it’s content.

Let’s get this on screen sooner rather than later!

Amanda Seyfried looks like she is ready for a summer picnic on the cover of the June issue of Self Magazine. The Letters to Juliet star gives us her take on everything from being confidant in Hollywood to how she recovers from a bad day. Check it:

On having confidence in Hollywood: “Remember, nobody’s perfect. In Hollywood, people may seem perfect, but that’s because they spend thousands on trainers and diets and surgeries. We’re made to feel as if we’re supposed to look like that, but it’s not realistic at all. If you have a negative body image, exercise, but not for your appearance. The main thing you can change is how you perceive yourself. Stop looking in the mirror and realize that you’re living for yourself, not other people. If we’re so busy trying to change ourselves, especially aesthetically, we’re going to miss out on other, bigger things. When I see a scene in a movie where my belly sticks out, I’m like, That doesn’t look good. But then, in a later shot, I still have a pudgy belly. What are the chances of me having a six-pack for the next movie? Slim to none. But staying in shape is healthy and important, and endorphins are a godsend!”

On making it: “I’ve been an up-and-comer for so long. Now everybody is telling me that I’m having “a moment.” I’m like, “All right, how long does that last?” It’s not always about being appreciated but about appreciating what you have. Life is like a game: If you’re still working at it, then you’ve won. Stay on that path. Every little step you take is an accomplishment. Remember, be realistic, but don’t stop being optimistic!”

On having a bad day: “For a simple bad day, I would say go for a good coffee break with nature. I like to go hiking. Or have a drink at a friend’s house. I think it’s important to either be with people who love you for who you are and not what you do, or to be with yourself in a place where your existence doesn’t matter much. Knowing yourself, who you are and what you want are important. I know that I need my relationships to be consistent. In a world, and especially in an industry, where things are so unreliable, the people in my life are most important. Sharing and loving and laughing and understanding with them is what makes me happy. And my dog. I feel immediately better when I pick him up.”

Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen’s band The Pretty Reckless just released their debut music video for the single “Make Me Wanna Die”, which is featured in the movie “Kick A$$” soundtrack (watch video above).

Miley Cyrus’ new album is set to be released on June 22. “Can’t Be Tamed” is a collection of twelve songs, which includes the controversial cover of Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”, and will mark the evolution of Miley from Hannah Montana star to sexy pop star.

Here is a brand new action-filled TV spot for the third movie of The Twilight Saga, “Eclipse”. Kristen Stewart’s wig makes a horrible appearance at the beginning of the clip, but I cannot help but be mesmerized by the beautiful colors of the Twilight movies.

NOOOO!! No!! Our favorite teen couple, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas have reportedly broken up after going public with their relationship only a couple of months ago. It’s the end of Jemi. We are heartbroken!

The two will still be hitting the road together this summer with their “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” world tour, which starts in Dallas on July 27. So sad, so awkward. According to some sources, Jemi broke up because Joe did not like the way Demi was always talking to the press about their relationship.

And there’s more. Other not-so-reliable sources even claim Joe’s father was the one to break up with Demi for Joe and he did it over the phone. OMG! We hope this is not true. Poor Demi!

Seriously. Actress Kristen Stewart was caught hanging backstage with heavy metal star Rob Zombie at the Rock on the Range tour in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday (May 23). Yeah, I know… first vampires, then werewolves and now zombies. Kristen has a thing for mythological night creatures.

Twilight star Nikki Reed wants you to do something and help those children who do not have school supplies they need to start school this fall. Nikki filmed a “Do Something 101” PSA to raise awareness for her cause.

Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka will star in “Hellcats”, which will come to a TV set near you on CW this fall. This new show is about the new challenges of life in college, popularity and of course, cheerleading (watch trailer below). Fun!

We are not really excited about this new show. There is nothing really original about it. The cheerleading competition drama is a recurrent theme in different teen TV shows and movies. But we are excited to have Ashley Tisdale back!
