‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 2 Scoop & Spoilers
So much vampilicious dish out right now it’s hard to figure out where to begin…
Filming has begun on season 2 of The Vampire Diaries (they’ve already finished the premiere episode) and the cast, writers and producers have been giving up some juicy tidbits to all sorts of media outlets.
Stars Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Matt Davis, Steven R McQueen, and Michael Trevino and writer/producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec were all at Comic Con in San Diego and all gave a multitude of interviews dropping new morsels in each one.

So here is a bit of what we do know:
- Tyler Lockwood will transform into a wolf – and it will be tied to the full moon – not a shapeshifter.
- Caroline’s (Candice Accola) relationship with her mom, the sheriff (Marguerite MacIntyre), will be featured.
- There will be a masquerade themed episode (timed near Halloween.)
- There is at least one major death planned so far.

- Katherine and Elena will end up meeting face to face.
- We get to see the season 1 finale from a different perspective (perhaps Elena’s?)
- Damon finds out it was Katherine he kissed and is a very unhappy vampire after learning the truth.
