Call it The Fairly OddDrake…

Drake Bell will be back on Nickelodeon in 2011 as the pink hat loving 5th grade scamp in the live action movie A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up Timmy Turner! Bell, who is 24 years old, takes on the role of Timmy as a twenty something guy who refuses to grow up so he won’t lose his fairy godparents, Wanda (Cheryl Hines) and Cosmo (Jason Alexander.) Butch Hartman, creator of the super popular animated series says:

“I think fans of the series will love seeing the characters in this new way. Our mix of live-action and special effects animation will make them look ‘hyper-real’ and our goal is to make this movie as visually exciting as it will be funny.”

Daniella Monet of Victorious! will play Tootie, the girl Timmy might just decide to grow up for and leave his childhood behind.

The TV movie will debut sometime in 2011. It would be nice to see Drake back on TV.

iCarly star Jennette McCurdy performed a two hour free concert for attendees of the 2010 Street of Affordable Homes in Forest Grove, Oregon on July 25th. McCurdy, who plays Sam Puckett on the popular Nickelodeon show, covered the classic Carole King tune “So Far Away” and did a great job. Check her out above.

The raven haired beauties of Selena Gomez and Katy Perry will make great pop music together for Selena’s upcoming sophomore album, tentatively titled A Year Without Rain. The bubbly Perry has contributed a song to Selena and the Scene’s latest effort, due in September and has contributed background vocals to the track as well.

“Zac Dives In” is the latest featurette from Zac Efron’s new movie Charlie St. Cloud that opens in theaters Friday July 30th.

The amazing Emma Watson is on the cover of Australia’s Dolly magazine for August 2010. The Harry Potter actress article is unfortunately, just rehashed existing interviews (go here to see the scans.)

Emma seems to have settled in nicely to her studies at Brown University and is keeping a low profile other than an event here or there. Good for her. She appears to have carved out a normal slice of student life for herself which is what she wanted.

Actress Demi Moore is having a blast showing her millions of followers pictures from the set of the movie “LOL: Laughing Out Loud”, starring Miley Cyrus as her daughter.

Demi tweeted, “In the moment! (picture above) Me Miley and Marlo! The 3 generations of LOL! (picture below).” Miley seems to be content to pose for her new mommy’s crazy Twitter addiction.

Sir Paul McCartney himself asked The Jonas Brothers’ to perform one of Beatles’ classic songs, “Drive My Car” at a special White House event (see video above). They were pretty nervous to be a part of such a special night at President Barack Obama’s home, but they completely rocked the house!
