The Vampire Diaries has it all (vampires and witches and curses) and the show is going to add new jaw-dropping twists to some of the existing mythology as well as focus intently on the very human emotional lives of the characters for season 2.

San Diego Comic-Con 2010 had the show’s stars Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Matt Davis, Steven R McQueen and Michael Trevino along with writer/producer Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec giving hints about what’s to come and how the characters are reacting to the shocking season 1 finale.

Is Jeremy dead? Does Damon know he kissed Katherine, not Elena? Does Stefan know? What’s Katherine doing in town? Is Tyler just going to be a jerk all season long – or is there a reason behind it all? Do Alaric and Jenna finally get together?

Coming into the third installment of any franchise film series can be intimidating for any actor and Kirsten Prout says she felt a bit of nerves when she first got the part of Lucy in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The core cast and crew are established and usually pretty tight knit so it’s no wonder Prout was unsure of how welcoming it would be.

INSPIRE: You’ve been in numerous television series (including Kyle XY) already. How was it different stepping into a movie (Eclipse), especially one so popular worldwide?

KIRSTEN: It was definitely intimidating stepping onto a set with an established cast, all of whom are tremendously talented. On our show (Kyle XY) we had such a dynamic, so I knew what I was in for as the new kid. That being said, everyone was so welcoming and it was an absolute pleasure working on Eclipse.

I: Were expectations met when filming among the “Twilight” cast and crew? Did you meet all the cast members?
K: I didn’t have a lot of expectations other than the cast being extremely closed off and the set absolutely swamped with paparazzi. In terms of the cast, I was completely wrong. They are such wonderful inclusive people. When it comes to paparazzi, nothing prepares you for being hunted by cameras. Definitely a strange feeling.

After Eclipse costar Jackson Rathbone took time out of his day to get to know her, Prout praised him as being “an extremely friendly and authentic person.”

The 18 year old actress is currently filming the MTV sequel My Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen: Part 2 in Atlanta. She has another finished film, Locked Away due for release early 2011.

Country star Taylor Swift and British actor Toby Hemingway, who starred as the singer’s groom in her new music video for “Mine”, are rumored to be dating. They have been spending a lot of time together and Taylor seems to be smitten with her new friend. Taylor and Toby’s Wedding Pictures HERE.

Taylor explains how she picked the 27 year-old actor to be walk her down the aisle (in the music video, of course!).

“I saw Feast of Love and just loved that movie and thought Toby was so great that I thought it would be perfect to put him in the video,” Taylor said. “I was doing some more research and watched another movie he was in called The Covenant. I’ve got this crazy 13 lucky thing, and he walks on screen for the first time wearing a sweatshirt with a 13 on it! That was the deciding factor. It wasn’t really up to me, it was about the number.”

“Mine” music video comes out on August 16 and it’s the first single out of her new album titled “Speak Now”, due October 25.

“It’s a song that is about my tendency to run from love – it’s been a recent tendency,” she said.”Every really direct example of love that I’ve had in front of me has ended in goodbye, has ended in breakups. So I’ve developed a pattern of sort of running away when it comes time to fall in love. This song is sort of about finding the exception to that.”

Canadian teen superstar Justin Bieber is a singer, actor and wannabe pro skateboarder. The 16 year-old already knows how to rock on the skateboard and showed his incredible hot moves in a new video posted on Twitter (see video above).

Actress Demi Lovato is currently working on her new album, which will be her third, but she is not planning to get a raunchy makeover like Miley Cyrus. Demi’s new album is definitely going to be more mature and more R&B. And still classy!

“I don’t think it’s going to change my image, not drastically,” the singer said. “It’s going to be what you’re seeing of me right now. It’s going to be very Demi. It’s more mature. It’s definitely grown up, but in a classy way.”

Did Demi just politely diss her BFF Miley Cyrus? Probably not. Both Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato chose to keep their die-hard fans and make music they will still be able to enjoy, while Miley has completely ditched her good girl image.

High School Musical star, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, have been dating for five years yet they are not engaged and do not plan to get married anytime soon. Why? Zac doesn’t want to have responsibility of being a married man and having to provide for his family.

“I’ve always said I’m not gonna get married until I’m 30 at least. I’m gonna wait,” says Zac. “I wouldn’t want that kind of commitment or pressure at this point, and once you do that, where do you go from there? It’s going to be even more pressure…I try not to think about it.”

What does Vanessa think about this? Is she willing to wait another eight years to tie the knot? After all they have been through together, Vanessa and Zac probably have the same life plan. They have to work on their careers before they decided to settle down and have kids.

Actress Kristen Stewart is not only completely in love with Robert Pattinson (wishful thinking!?!), but she also loves her kitten, Max, and she takes him everywhere. Kristen and Max are inseparable!

Kristen revealed: “I have a cat called Max, and I really like him. It’s frustrating when you travel, especially because my cat is insane.

“He’s like the Antichrist even when sedated. He sits in a carrier under the seat in front of me on a plane, but it’s really not cool to have him in the cabin because he screams and rips his claws out.”

We really had no idea Kristen was totally obsessed with her cat. Vampires and cats are mysterious, seductive creatures of the night. They have a lot in common, except vampires drink blood, while cats drink milk.
