Online magazine Portrait has featured The Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder for their August edition. The two stars are back at work on season 2 of the supernatural thriller and the mag takes a look back at the crazy year they just had.

Nina knows just what a lucky lady she is and isn’t taking any of her success or good fortune for granted!
“Every morning I think to myself  ‘This is so cool. I’m so lucky.’ I realize it and don’t want to let it slip away. I went to London for the first time, and I got to go to Elton John’s charity event. I got to go to the premiere of Sherlock Holmes. I met Guy Ritchie and Robert Downey Jr - idols of mine. I’m in such a great position. Long time fans of Ian know he is a vocal and active champion for causes near to his heart. The two biggest are advocating for green, sustainable living and animal activism. Ian takes those causes seriously. During his time off from shooting “The Vampire Diaries” he spent time at St Tammany Humane Society, working with the animals. At one point, he even offered an incentive to fans through Twitter. If anyone adopted a pet that day, Ian was willing to meet up at a local park with his own dog and spend the day with fans. With the intensity of his fans, that’s quiet the offer. More recently, Ian actively fought for the shelter to get much needed financial support from Chase in a charity competition on Facebook. His efforts seem to have paid off, as the shelter won $20,000.

Justin Bieber is planning to release a memoir this fall detailing his meteoric rise to pop stardom. Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story will hit bookstores in October and give fans an opportunity to learn how Justin became the international superstar in his own words.

“Every day I wake up and count my blessings. My fans have played such a large part in all of this and they help me live my dreams every day. I’m excited to share just a little bit more of my world with them through this book,” says Bieber.

Singer/model Jessica Jarrell is a hot new artist, who recently signed a record deal with Def Jam. The super cute 15 year-old, who already performed at the White House during the Easter egg hunt, just filmed a new music video for her single “Up And Running” featuring Travie McCoy (watch video below).

Actress Sammi Hanratti, best known for her as Chuck in “Pushing Daisies”, stars in a new scary psychological thriller, “Within”, about a young girl (Rachel) who can see the evil in other people and will have to use her powers to stop violent attacks against children in her town (watch trailer below).

Sammi wrote on her official blog, “Check out “Within”, the psychological thriller I did. I play Michelle Lowe, who’s schoolyard pranks turn from good-natured fun to something potentially deadly.”

Oh boy! Actress Kristen Stewart is reportedly giving her “alleged” boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, very sexy and passionate private stripteases. HOT! Robert is one lucky man.

Kristen had to learn that fine art of dance for her role as a stripper in the movie “Welcome To The Rileys” and now she is using her expertise to seduce the Twilight heartthrob.

Jonas Brothers’ Nick Jonas sings “Introducing Me” to his love interest, actress Chloe Bridges, in this new scene from Disney’s forthcoming movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” (watch video below). The soundtrack will be available on August 10 and the movie will premiere on the Disney Channel September 3.

Hannah Montana is wrapping up it’s mega successful run on the Disney Channel and the season is chock full of guest stars. Jay Leno, Dolly Parton, Kelly Ripa and Sheryl Crow are among the celebs making their way to Miley Cyrus’ farewell to the series.

Sheryl’s episode is hitting the airwaves Sunday August 8th and Crow and Cyrus duet on Winter Wonderland and Need A Little Love. The latter song will also appear on the Hannah Montana Forever soundtrack.

K-Mart stores all over the nation got the first shipment of Selena Gomez’s new line of clothing Dream Out Loud. The Disney sweetheart announced on her twitter today:

“Dream Out Loud is out today in K-Mart stores across America. I will [be] checking out some of the stores in the Los Angeles area. Let me know what you guys think. I hope you like it.”

Selena also posted this behind the scenes look at the Dream commercial shoot.

Lindsey Shaw will grace the cover of Zooey magazine for it’s September 2010 issue and above is a sneak peek. The 10 Things I Hate About You actress will take part in a photo shoot where she takes on different Alice In Wonderland roles.

Shaw just wrapped filming Smash, a movie about a very driven teen tennis player who gets injured and discovers she might have missed out not being an ordinary teenager.

Zooey magazine is the renaming/relaunch of Inspire magazine and will be on newsstand August 27th and will be the first entertainment magazine to be made of 100% recycled materials.

InStyle magazine and QVC host the annual Super Saturday event in the Hamptons and this year Ashley Greene was on hand as the designer goods were sold. Loads of famous fashion moguls sell their wares and proceeds benefit Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
