Jonas Brothers’ Joe Jonas is writing and composing new songs as he secretly works in the studio on his first solo album, which is expected to be released early next year.  ”We are planning for an early 2011 release,” a rep for Hollywood Records tells E!.

Joe is not going to follow his little brother Nick Jonas’ footsteps. Joe, who is working with several writers and producers, reportedly wants to become a “sexier Justin Timberlake” with a “more dangerous sound”.

The 21 year-old singer is apparently ready to ditch the JB suits for a simple t-shirt and leather jacket. Joe is finally growing up and becoming a man! The Camp Rock star is reportedly dating Twilight actress Ashley Greene.
