Emma Roberts walked the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival Saturday for the premiere of her latest movie It’s  Kind of a Funny Story. The film is about a kid (Keir Gilchrist) who checks himself into a mental ward to help cope with his feelings of helplessness. Roberts and Zach Galifianakis costar as patients in the ward. Taylor Swift has a little down time in Los Angeles before MTV’s VMAs on Sunday night and spent it having lunch with pals and shopping. Perfect!

The very popular star is rumored to have a new song to debut at the awards ceremony tonight. Swift is ready to address the Kanye West incident (you know – the one where West infamously interrupted Swift as she was accepting an award… read it here if you need refreshing.)

The Stand Up To Cancer telethon was a star studded event held in LA to raise money for cancer research. Vanessa Hudgens, Brenda Song, Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vassileva and David Archuleta all came to Sony Pictures Studios Friday afternoon (September 10th) to man the phones and help in any way they could. Grabbing a slice of fanged airtime, Warner Bros. put out a short clip of the upcoming Harry Potter movie that aired during the premiere of season two of The Vampire Diaries. Check it out below.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 debuts in movie theaters on November 19th.

The second season of The Vampire Diaries premiered Thursday night and wow! was it great!

The aptly titled episode “The Return” brought back so much more than just what we initally thought. Not only did Elena Gilbert’s doppleganger Katherine Pierce return (in crazy, manipulative vampire form with both parts played very well by Nina Dobrev) there was a return of the nasty, bitter, I-hate-humanity Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) and the dominance of the Elena/Stefan (Paul Wesley) romance.

The show picks up right where season one ended… if you haven’t seen it and want to remain in the dark – don’t go any farther!

Camp Rock star Demi Lovato had already hinted she wanted to get away from Twitter because she felt like she wasn’t enjoying her real life since she was so addicted to it. Well, Demi just announced she would be leaving Twitter… for now. Demi did say it was a “Twitterbreak”.

Demi tweeted, “About to say goodbye to twitter… I love my fans so much but the access that the other people have is uncomfortable to me. Twitterbreak. Peace.”

No!! Demi, don’t go!! We don’t want Demi to leave us, but we understand why she needs some privacy and space at this time. We all know Demi’s true love, Joe Jonas has already moved on and is currently dating Ashley Greene…. can you imagine what the cruel things some people must say to Demi on Twitter!?!?

The good news is: Demi didn’t delete her Twitter account completely. Demi will be back!

Super cute Willow Smith, the 9 year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, has officially launched her singing career in style as she is signed a recording deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation label.

Brother Jaden Smith, who starred in the 2010 remake of Karate Kid, is set to become a major movie star, while sister Willow is one talent little girl, who has already been compared to a young Michael Jackson.

Jay-Z, the Roc Nation founder and president, said in a statement, “It’s rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career.”

Willow, who is known for her peculiar fashion sense and funky hairstyle, has a single out titled “Whip My Hair” that has become an overnight internet sensation. We are really impressed with Willow’s vocal skills.

The 9 year-old superstar already shot a video for the single “Whip My Hair” last month. It should be released later this month, but she has not set an official date yet. Check out Willow’s debut song below.

Justin Bieber is on the cover of Teen Vogue for the October ‘Young Hollywood’ edition. Bieber gives it up about his CSI role, how to talk to him and who he’d like to costar with:

On his CSI character: “It seems like I’m this sweet and innocent kid, and then it turns out I’m the mastermind behind everything.”

On how fans should approach him: “Just talk to me. Ask me how I’m doing. Introduce yourself instead of yelling, ‘Justin! Justin! Justin! Can I have a picture?’ And don’t come up to me while I’m eating. How would you like it if I came into your house and started taking pictures of you while you were eating? I hate that.”

Who would he want to co-star in a movie with? “Selena Gomez. She’s a good buddy of mine. She’s really nice.”

Selena Gomez is lovely in gold tunic dress for the October cover of Latina magazine. The Wizards of Waverly Place actress spoke about her career, her love life and speaking Spanish:

Her career: “I’m not just going to slap my name on something… I want to be really passionate about everything I do, so it’s all about timing,” she says. “I’m 18, but I feel like I’m still 15. I feel very young at heart, and I still want to jump up and down on my bed singing and rocking out.”

Love and What She’s Looking For:  “You never really know when you’re in love at this age. I don’t know what love is. I would like someone who is not cool and who is really fun to be around and loves family and has good morals.”

Language Barriers: “I really need to learn my language. I practice, but I can understand it better than I can speak it.”
