“Harry Potter” actor Daniel Radcliffe will play a young vampire named Edmund who will fall in love with Lisa Simpson in the much-anticipated Halloween special episode of “The Simpsons” titled “Tweenlight”.

Daniel’s character sounds suspiciously like Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga. Ah! Daniel vs. Robert: who will be the best vampire? Rob will most probably love the idea of being spoofed by his “good old friend”.

Rob and Daniel have the pleasure of starring together in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”.

Young actor Angus T. Jones just signed a fabulous multi-million dollar contract, in which he will score $300,000 per episode of “Two and Half Men” for the next two seasons. However, Angus agreed to appear as a guest star on Hannah Montana as an “obnoxious new kid” named T.J. for only $2,808.

Wow!! Miley Cyrus does have a lot of power when it comes to men. $2,808 is like peanuts for Angus, yet he still gladly worked with Miley for a whole week almost for “free” (what is $3,000 compared to $300,000?). The special episode aired in July 2010.

Actress Hilary Duff just released her first novel “Elixir”, which tells the story of a globe-trotting photojournalist named Clea Raymond, and is currently on a frantic book promotional tour.

The 23 year-old author, who recently married her beau Mike Comrie, was at the Borders in New York City to kick off her tour and visited The Today Show on Monday (October 11).

Hilary tweeted her excitement, “OK! heading to my very first book signing@borders columbus circle nyc! Whooo goin to try and do my first twitpic! Wish me luck!”. While at Borders, Hilary tweeted the picture above with the caption, “thanks everyone for coming out and supporting me!! couldn’t of asked for a better crowd!! xxo”

On Tuesday, October 12th, Hilary will stop by Live! with Regis and Kelly and then continue on the Elixir book tour to Books Bytes & Beyond in Glen Rock, NJ at 5pm. In the days to follow the Elixir book tour will bring Hilary to Carle Place, NY; Bal Harbour, FL; Naperville, IL; Fenton, MO; and Los Angeles, Ca.

Reality star Lauren Conrad, best known for starring on MTV’s “The Hills”, went from an assistant to a cover girl on the upcoming issue of Teen Vogue Magazine (November 2010)- more pictures below.

The 24 year-old author recently released a new book “Sugar and Spice”, the third and final book in the “LA Candy” series, and is currently working on her new clothing line “Paper Crown”.

On leaving “The Hills”: “I left right before I went crazy.”

On her new reality show: “It’s not going to revolve around my personal life. Filming the last two shows [The Hills, Laguna Beach], I never had the opportunity to show everything I was working for. This time the focus is going to be on my job, and while that’s still personal to me, I will also have a part of my life that can be mine.”

On her new clothing line “Paper Crown”: “It’s the idea of creating your own glamour. The focus will be on really great fits, fabrics, and details. It won’t be overly trendy—nothing that’s trying too hard. I’m very excited about it, but I’m also a little nervous. I’m doing it all on my own this time.”

The secrecy about the status of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s relationship is kind of pointless at this time. The Twilight couple was caught on another late night date in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles on Sunday (October 10), but this time they smiled and laughed it off. OMG, Kristen is actually looking pretty happy!

Actress Hayden Panettiere was surprised with a super cute fluffy friend, a wolf cub on the red carpet of the UK premiere of the animated children’s movie “Alpha and Omega” held at the BFI in London, England on Sunday (October 10)- more pictures below.

Awww. The Heroes hottie loves animals and she was really excited to be able to pet and cuddle the adorable cub. Hayden voices wolf Kate in the movie, who as the Alpha female of the pack will have to marry another wolf and break her friend Humphrey’s heart since they are not from the same social status in the pack and cannot be together.

Love against social status! Remind me of “Lady and the Tramp”. Loved that movie! Do you want to watch “Alpha and Omega”?

The countdown till the launch of Speak Now has started. Taylor Swift is releasing three new singles in anticipation for the big day (October 25). “Back To December”, which will hit iTunes on Tuesday (October 12), is an apology song and rumored to have been written about the singer’s former boyfriend, Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner.

Taylor says:“‘Back to December’ is a song that addresses a first for me, in that I’ve never apologized to someone in a song before. This is about a person who was incredible to me, just perfect to me in a relationship, and I was really careless with him. So this is a song full of words that I would say to him.”

The 20 year-old singer confessed this (apologizing in a song) is something she’s never done before, but claims the guy deserves it since he was so incredible to her and she did not recognize how lucky she was at the time (watch video below).

Daniel Radcliffe is undergoing a transformation for the November issue of Dazed & Confused. (The editorial photo above gives off a Joker/demented King vibe and has a great creative/artsy feel to it.) The actor is headed back to Broadway to star in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and says he is glad to be unattached:

‘I’ve been in relationships from the age of 14 and now I’m single. I said to a friend the other day, ‘Dude, I’m doing a show with dancers. I’ve got to be single.’ He was like, ‘Don’t sleep with anyone in your show. That’s a mistake.’ It’s good advice. But I’m not sure I’ll stick to it.’

Beautiful Christian Serratos is the November cover of Troix magazine.

Serratos, who will begin filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in New Orleans in the next couple of weeks, has been busy attending Hollywood parties including PETA’s 30th anniversary and the 2010 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party (see photos here.)

Serratos has also completed work on another film, 96 Minutes, but that has no release date yet. She costars with Brittany Snow in the movie about four kids whose lives intersect through a carjacking, the decisions they make and the effect those choices have.

Kristen Stewart’s role as the young stripper Mallory in Welcome to the Riley’s will see the actress take on one of her most challenging parts to date. The actress portrays the teenage runaway who helps to bring an emotionally empty married couple (James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo) out of their grief and back to living again.

The stills released by the studio show Stewart as a vulnerable, hollow young woman who looks worn and angry at the world. The photos really give a sense of sadness for all three characters in the film.
