Miranda Cosgrove is working hard on new music and her first single “Dancing Crazy” hit iTunes today.

The new song was cowritten by Avril Lavigne (you can definitely hear the influence) and the cover artwork for it is above.

Cosgrove was in the studio today, working with Rivers Cuomo from Weezer on a new single and she tweeted:

“In the studio. Rivers is the bomb.”

Actress Demi Lovato, who is currently in rehab, posed in some compromising sexy positions with her girl friends and the photos were reportedly leaked by her frenemy, dancer Alex Welsh. Alex is the girl the Camp Rock star allegedly punched before she realized she needed to seek professional help.

Vanessa Hudgens turned 22 last week and the actress turned up at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas with her BFF’s Ashley Tisdale and Brittany Snow to celebrate her birthday.

Hudgens wore a silver metallic dress by Pleasure Doing Business and was presented with a three tiered cake decorated with her likeness in frosting on it’s side.

When asked about her split from her boyfriend of four years, Zac Efron, Hudgens remarked “We’re good,” and gave the photographers a thumbs up. It certainly looks like there really was no drama involved, just two people who grew up and grew apart.

Ashley Greene pulled solo promotion duties as she hit the Best Buy on Columbus Circle in New York City and signed copies of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse DVD and Blu-ray release.

Greene and her boyfriend Joe Jonas, grabbed a bite at the famous eatery Nobu later that night in the Big Apple. While the happy twosome are rumored to have moved in together, neither has confirmed or denied the story.

Pixie Lott is currently on her Crazy Cats Tour in England and performed at the Newcastle City Hall on December 17th.

The “Mama Do” singer has also begun exploring acting after starring in the Nickelodeon hit movie Fred: The Movie with Lucas Cruikshank. Lott had a great time and is open to more acting jobs:

“I grew up doing lots of acting at school and I did lots of shows and TV shows and stuff, but it’s the first time I’ve ever done a film so it was really exciting. I’d like to do more,” she revealed.

“Because its such a light-hearted, fun film everyone was really relaxed and the whole crew and everything was really nice.”

Pixie doesn’t have anything else confirmed as yet, but does say more projects are in the works.

Saoirse Ronan attended the premiere of The Way Back held at the Cinematheque Francaise in Paris along with costars Colin Farrell, Ed Harris and Jim Sturgess.

The film, a true story about a rag-tag group of escaped prisoners who trek 4,000 miles to reach freedom, had the actors in many different outdoor climates (including filming in the desert, Siberian and mountain settings as well) to portray the long, arduous journey the escapees undertook. On the London premiere red carpet, Ronan and costars were asked what was the hardest thing they had to endure while filming.

Saoirse said “It was tough sometimes to be in such a warm climate,” referring to their time in Morocco, but everyone got along well and there really weren’t problems otherwise.

Disney On Ice Let’s Celebrate premiered at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles last week and some of Disney’s favortie teen stars came out, including Camp Rock star Anna Maria Perez de Tagle.

Perez de Tagle is set to costar with Make It or Break It’s Cassie Scerbo and The Vampire Diaries Katerina Graham in Bleachers - a new millenium version of the John Hughes classic teen dramedy The Breakfast Club.

Emma Stone gets the summery Australian cover of Girlfriend magazine. Stone is beach-y keen and still a redhead on the front of the December 2010 issue.

The (now blonde) Easy A actress got word early this week she was nominated for a Golden Globe in the Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical category for her role as Olive in the high school comedy. Her competition? A-list actress Angelina Jolie. Emma isn’t taking her possible win too seriously yet. In fact, she’s says bring it, Angie!

Emma says she doesn’t think she has a chance of winning (she’s up against Angie for The Tourist), but was able to joke about crushing her competition saying, “Angelina Jolie? She wishes!”

If you haven’t seen Easy A yet, you get your chance on Tuesday December 21st when it hits stores for the DVD/Blu-ray release. Oh and guess who else has a DVD out on 12/21 – Jolie’s Salt is on sale that day too. It’s a conspiracy!

Emily Osment got her holiday jingle on as she performed at the Rock The Red Kettle Concert in Glendale, CA on Wednesday December 15th.

The Hannah Montana actress was joined by other musical acts including Savvy, New Hollow and One Call to support The Salvation Army’s annual red kettle holiday campaign to raise funds.

To donate online go to onlineredkettle.org to help the organization reach it’s goal of $3,000,000 this year.

Taylor Momsen was performing in the Scotttish city of Glasgow when she committed a geography faux-pas that left concert goers unhappy with the star. The Pretty Reckless singer was encouraging the crowd and giving the audience some hometown acknowledgment when she goofed on the country she was in. Momsen told the crowd:

“Glasgow you are looking good tonight. We are The Pretty Reckless and we have heard Glasgow is the craziest crowd in all of England.”

The Scottish were none to pleased with Momsen’s geographical gaffe. The crowd turned on her and booed loudly for her confusion. The singer realized her mistake after the concert and posted her apology on twitter:

Glasgow, I love you, I now HAVE to tour SCOTLAND (haha, sorry bout the slip up!)

It seems like an honest ‘oops’ on her part, so I hope her Scottish fans forgive her and enjoy her show the next time she hits Glasgow.
