Selena Gomez hit the stage of Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday to perform at Z100′s Jingle Ball 2010. Gomez was introduced by Flo Rida and she started her performance with “Round and Round.” Gomez and her band The Scene then went to “Rock God” (which she collaborated with Katy Perry on) followed by “A Year Without Rain” and closed out her set with “Naturally.”

OH NO!!! Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus was caught smoking a natural herb known as Salvia with hallucinogenic qualities from a bong a few days after she turned 18 in Los Angeles, while one of her good friends was capturing the moment on camera.

The 18 year-old Disney star, who was clearly totally high, had her first hallucination. Miley claims that one of the boys at the party looks exactly like her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Giggles. Boyfriend or ex-boyfriend?

Getting trapped in a futuristic prison is on the horizon for Taylor Lautner. The Twilight Saga actor is attached to star in Incarceron, the adaptation of the Catherine Fisher novel.

Lautner will star as Finn, a 17 year old prisoner who has found the ability to communicate with Claudia, the daughter of the Warden of Incarceron. Claudia is headed for an arranged marriage and is convinced Finn can help her find a way out.

Lautner is working on the last of the Twilight films, Breaking Dawn. He will also star with Lily Collins in Abduction in 2011.

It’s the day for teen book/movie adaptation casting – Collins just inked a deal for City Of Bones (see that article here.)

Now if only they would announce who will star in The Hunger Games…

Lily Collins has grabbed up a role in big screen adaptation of YA novel City Of Bones. The Blind Side actress has just landed the deal to star in the film that Scott Charles Stewart will direct. Stewart and Collins have worked together before on the clergyman- turned-vampire-hunter movie Priest, starring Paul Bettany and Cam Gigandet.

While the original article doesn’t say specifically which role she has (it says only “set to star”) I believe that means Collins will have the Clary Fray role (not Isabella Lightwood.) She definitely fits the physical description of Clary – 15 year old, red hair and freckles – more than Isabella.

Along with Priest, Collins also has Abduction with Taylor Lautner coming out in 2011.

I love Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments series and look forward to more casting on this.

Everyone is angling for an invite to the April 29, 2011 wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Even actress Emma Roberts is interested in the ‘Royal Couple for the New Millenium’ and is hoping a certain red headed brother will get the ball rolling:

“I’m very excited about the royal wedding,” says the 19-year-old niece of Julia Roberts. “I think it’s going to be amazing. Both the Princes are so handsome. If Harry needs a date to the wedding, I’ll do it.”

C’mon Harry, we’ve all seen the internet rumor that you asked your old girlfriend Chelsy Davy, but Emma’s wardrobe is killer!

Taylor Swift is the face for CoverGirl cosmetics new NatureLuxe line. The beautiful ads are gorgeous, ethereal and light and Swift shines in the campaign for the brand new product.

Taylor is featured in the print ad that says “Introducing a breath of fresh air! Flawless coverage with a light-as-air feel. New NatureLuxe Silk Foundation.” Swift said in a press release:

“I’m really excited for people to discover the new NatureLuxe line from CoverGirl! The Silk Foundation and Gloss Balm are really light and fresh, they feel amazing on my skin,”

The beauty products hit shelves in January 2011.

Elle Fanning takes in the red carpet premiere of Somewhere at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood on December 7th. The young actress looked very sweet in her black dress and hair in a braided up do. Very ballerina-ish.

Fanning met up with her future Super 8 costar AJ Michalka, who also came to the event as well.

AJ Michalka caught the premiere of Somewhere, the Sophia Coppola directed drama, at the ArcLight Theater in Hollywood on Tuesday (December 7th.) AJ just got back from Vancouver where she has begun filming her guest spot on sister Aly Michalka’s CW TV show Hellcats.

Somewhere costars Elle Fanning, who will be working with Michalka in the JJ Abrams sci-fi thriller Super 8 set to film next year.

The Vampire Diaries heads into werewolf territory officially tonight in episode 2.11 “By The Light Of The Moon” and we see that the Lockwood family curse is really that – a curse. Oh yeah, and there is hot cave action between Stefan and Katherine…

McQueen) and her friends have gone to in order to keep her safe.  Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Luca (guest star Bryton James) work together on a spell, while still keeping secrets from one another.  Finally, Elijah (guest star Daniel Gillies) makes an unexpected appearance with an offer that could change everything.  Sara Canning and Zach Roering also star.

The Vampire Diaries is all new tonight, December 9th at 8pm on the CW. Don’t forget – tonight is the end of new episodes until late January!

Mean Girls 2 star Nicole Gale Anderson and Make It or Break It actress Josie Loren showed their festive spirit by hitting the JHRTS 8th Annual Young Hollywood Holiday Party at Voyeur nightclub in Los Angeles on Tuesday December 7th.

JHRTS is the Jr Hollywood Radio and Television Society and the yearly shindig benefits My Friends Place, “a nonprofit Resource Center offering a comprehensive continuum of care that includes free emergency resources such as food and clothing in combination with health, educational, and therapeutic services to over 1,800 homeless youth and their children each year.”
