Actress Leighton Meester, who is making the transition from TV star to big screen beauty, claims she is all grown up and sometimes “a little bit fat” as the hot cover girl of the upcoming February 2011 issue of Nylon Magazine (pictures below).

In the interview, the 24 year-old talks about her characters, Blair Waldorf on “Gossip Girl” and Chiles Stanton in “Country Strong”, and how important are family and friends in her life. “The Roommate” co-star Minka Kelly confessed Leighton worked so hard to play Rebecca that she even scared her while the two were filming.

Leighton Meester on Blair Waldorf: “Blair is…. I don’t know what she is… I have to enter a completely foreign body to sympathize with Blair and her decisions. You know, Blair grew up very savvy, well-educated, and lonely. I think her mother is not the most supportive person and… Blair is very competitive and conniving, and it obviously comes, usually, from a very human place, but she makes decisions that I would never make.”

Leighton Meester on her Country Strong character, Chiles Stanton: “She is so scared of people thinking of her as this ignorant, vapid, pretty face, and you know, I can totally understand where she’s coming from because, especially if you come from Dallas Texas, you’re a beauty queen – you don’t play the guitar, you’re writing seemingly meaningless pop songs. All that I can relate to, totally. It’s sad and sweet at the same time.””

Minka Kelly on Leighton Meester during the filming of The Roommate: “She worked with psychologists; she really studied the illness of the character, so much that at times on set i was a little concerned whether or not she was there because she scared me so much! The look in her eye was so surreal I was in awe at how much she committed to it.”

Leighton Meester on Her Family and Friends: “I like to be judged by my family and friends because they know me. If they think I’m being an asshole I’d like them to tell me, but if I’m fat or something I’m like, “Well, so? OK? Great!” It doesn’t even matter; it’s like, “What if I am fat? Does it matter?”… I’m a grown woman and sometimes, I might be a little fat, you know! Am I alone there? Not really!”

Hot new actor Alex Pettyfer, who has two movies coming out (“Beastly” and “I Am Number Four”), is featured on the upcoming issue of GQ Magazine (February 2011)- more pictures below.

The 20 year-old is currently dating “I Am Number Four” co-star, Glee actress Dianna Agron. In an interview with JJJR, Alex explained how he imagines light coming out of his hands for his role in the movie.

Alex says, “It’s really cool. I was listening to an interview with the guy who plays Freddy Kruger and he was saying how he developed his technique and had this flowing motion that he used to have as an actor. That he just took the hands and so for me I just wanted to figure out a way – I didn’t want it to be all very dramatic.

“I came up with this way to light my hands, take it down and then I came up with this concept that when my hands light up cause it’s illumine and you don’t know what happens later in the books, and I do, but it kind of burns my hands so it’s a kind of painful experience every time I light up. But it’s great to have something to play with.”

Actress Leighton Meester, who is rumored to be romancing her “Country Strong” co-star Garret Hedlund, looked absolutely stunning in a classic and elegant Michael Kors long black dress at the premiere of her latest movie “The Roommate” held at Soho House in West Hollywood, California on Sunday (January 23)- more pictures below.

The 24 year-old, who plays the crazy obsessed roommate Rebecca, and her co-star, actress Minka Kelly, have become really good friends, but unlike the movie they have a very healthy relationship.

Leighton tweeted, “#TheRoommate premiere tonight with @minkakelly! Ecstatic to be with my girl! Kindred spirits.” And Minka responded, “Had the best time last night at #TheRoommate premiere! Thank you @itsmeleighton for such a great experience. Ur a true talent n class act!”

Teen superstar Justin Bieber went out of his way to personally deliver VIP tickets for the world premiere of his movie “Never Say Never” to the beautiful Kardashian sisters, Khloe, Kim, Kendall and Kylie (picture above).

Obviously, the girls couldn’t have been happier with their tickets and posed for the smiley picture of the 16 year-old singer/actor/YouTube sensation. Kim happily tweeted, “OMG @JustinBieber just stopped by to give us tickets to his movie Never Say Never!”

W Magazine compiled a list of the best performers of the past year. The Fanning sisters, Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning, might be young, but they have both been including in this list, which includes some big names like Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman, Mila Kunis and Annette Benning.

16 year-old Dakota’s character in “The Runaways” and 12 year-old Elle’s character in Sofia Coppola’s “Somewhere” were described as “so real they hurt”. They brought their characters to life and made us believe they are real.

DAKOTA FANNING IN “THE RUNAWAYS”:
Dakota speaks of her high school experience: “It was important for me to go to a normal high school. I have a locker, which was a big deal. My mom had to buy me a lock and teach me how to use it. It’s the little things: Where do you go at lunch? How do you open the locker? I wanted a yearbook! Now I have a lot of signatures in my yearbook—‘Have a good summer’ and all that.”

ELLE FANNING IN “SOMEWHERE”:
Elle speaks of her obsession with Marilyn Monroe: “The first movie I really fell in love with was The Seven Year Itch. I love Marilyn Monroe. I went as her in the white dress for Halloween. I did the mole and the little cat eye.”

All of our favorite CW shows are back this week and Gossip Girl leads the week off with episode 12 “The Kids Are Not All Right.”

When we left GG before the holidays Nate (Chace Crawford) was preparing for dear ol’ dad’s prison release, Serena (Blake Lively) discovered why Juliet (Katie Cassidy) was so intent on destroying her, Chuck (Ed Westwick) was caught off guard as Lily (Kelly Rutherford) tries to sell off his family company and there was some flirty looks between Dan (Penn Badgley) and Blair (Leighton Meester.)

The second half of the season looks good! Can’t wait for it to start tonight.

Vanessa Hudgens is gearing up for the release of Beastly (finally!) The date has been delayed, moved and pushed around the calendar so much it’s a wonder there is still interest in it.

Costarring with Alex Pettyfer, Mary Kate Olsen and Neil Patrick Harris (who later directed her at the Hollywood Bowl in a performance of Rent,) Hudgens spoke to ComingSoon about how she chose Beastly, her character Lindy and doing stunts while afraid of heights:

On what attracted her to the role: “It was just a script that was in the pile, you know, and I read it, and I thought that it was really interesting. I had a meeting with them, and I remember running in, and I was late and I felt horrible, and we just had a great conversation. It was me, Susan the producer and Daniel the director, and we just sat and talked about the project. Just hearing Daniel’s ambitions, what he wanted to do, how he wanted to shoot it, how he wanted to develop the characters. It just seemed like the right next choice.”

On who Lindy is and how she’s different: “It’s a whole lot different than me. I’m very outgoing and confident and when it comes to Lindy, she’s a bit more all over the place. She’s kind of the person that has a bunch of word vomit. She’ll say something and then instantly start to retract it, yet she can’t stop talking about it. She’s just kind of this neurotic character that’s just a lot of fun. There’s much more of a deeper undertone to the way I speak in it, because I have an extremely high voice.”

On her stunt work: “I’ve had one stunt already, which was quite frightening ’cause I’m afraid of heights, and I had to climb up a ladder, hold onto something upside down, they rigged me and I was literally hanging upside down on a pole, and then they would let the latch go, and they’d count “3,2,1″ and then I’d let go and fall into Alex’s arms.”

The movie hits theaters March 4th.

The nominees for the 31st Annual Razzie Awards were announced and they are loaded with some of your favorite performers and movies for 2010.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse gets a heaping helping of raspberries and so does The Last Airbender, The Last Song and Jonah Hex. Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Robert Pattinson, Megan Fox, Jackson Rathbone and lots more were called out for emotionally empty performances or movie making.

The Awards are given out February 26th.
