Jessica Simpson released a statement today confirming that yes, she IS pregnant.

Simpson confirmed the news via her Twitter account earlier today, when she posted the above photo along with the text:

It’s true – I’m going to be a mummy!

How long you been sittin’ on that one, Jess?

No word yet on when the little bundle of joy will be gracing us with his or her presence, but mommy and fiance, Eric Johnson, better get their butts in gear if they’re going to keep up with Beyonce and Jay Z!

After only 72 days of marriage socialite Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband, NBA star Kris Humphries.

Weird.  72 is the exact number of days you have to stay married in order to not have to return the $17 million dollars you banked from your wedding.  What a krazy koincidence…

Ryan Seacrest, executive producer of the hit E! reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” confirmed the news about the split earlier this morning via his Twitter account.

Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins.

Kardashian cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the break up and the couple, who did sign a prenup before the wedding, will not be seeking an annulment.

Regarding the ending of her brief marriage, Kim issued the following statement:

After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.

It’s always sad to see a marriage end, but these two just gave up after only 2 1/2 months of being husband and wife.  All I can say is – I want my toaster over back.

Talk about the ultimate Daddy’s girl; country super star, Taylor Swift threw down 2.5 million smackers for a 5,601 square-foot Antebellum house for her parents, in her now-hometown of Nashville, TN.

Andrea and Scott Swift’s new casa features four spacious bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a gorgeous formal dining room, multiple sitting areas, and a cement pond (that’s a swimming pool for those of you not versed in “southern speak”).

Playboy’s newest pinup girl, Lindsay Lohan, attended a shin dig at Hugh Hefner’s mansion last night to celebrate the Halloween weekend.

LiLo showed up dressed as a french maid (we’re sure glad Nicki Minaj wasn’t in attendance…) and partied the night away with, among other celebs, Hugh Hefner’s brother.  And yes, he’s also really old and really gross.

Ironically, this weekend was the first time in a while that Lindsay has not been surrounded by corpses.

Justin Bieber recently teamed up with pop icon Mariah Carey to rerelease her 90′s Christmas hit, “All I Want for Christmas is You” as a duet for his first-ever holiday album, “Mistletoe“.

You’d think this would be a terrific match, right?  Two pop stars, belting out a Christmas anthem during the most wonderful time of the year?

You’d think that, but you’d be wrong.

The Bieb’s vocals are autotuned out the wahzoo and it just doesn’t have the same Christmas magic as the original.

Twilight star Kristen Stewart is gracing another major magazine’s cover – this time it’s December issue of Glamour UK - and, quite frankly, I’m still completely baffled by the whole thing.

Can someone please explain to me why this girl is so freaking pissy all the time!?

In an exclusive interview with Britain’s #1 Women’s Magazine, the Breaking Dawn actress was asked she prefers “American jokes or British lads” – to which she succinctly answered,

Well, I’m kind of repulsed by jocks from anywhere, so I have to go with the lads.

Repulsed?  Really?  You’re repulsed by jocks… okay.

My personal favorite part of the interview is when KStew responds to the question of whether or not she ever “googles herself”.

Not any more, man. I do like to look at what I wear, though. It’s not like I put on a f*cking dress and don’t care about it after.

Is the expletive really necessary there?  I feel like Ms. Stewart is trying just a little too hard to keep up her “edgy” image.  Try smiling once in a while Sweetheart; it won’t kill you.

Police were called to hip hop artist Nicki Minaj’s home earlier today, when the rapper and her former maid got into a physical altercation.

Apparently, Minaj got her panties in a twist several weeks back when the maid in question asked her highness for an autograph while on duty (the audacity!).  Minaj was so upset that she terminated the woman on the spot; so imagine her surprise when Ms. Maid turned up at her doorstep today!

According to police reports, Nicki told the woman to get off her property, and when the maid refused by saying she wouldn’t stand being “treaded like an animal”, Nicki politely replied,

I’ll show you how to treat someone like an animal … get the f*ck out of my house!

Tensions between the two women ran so high that local authorities had to be called to the scene.

So here’s where things get weird… well, weird-er.

Sources revealed that the maid who turned up at Minaj’s house today, was not the same one who asked for an autograph.

Maybe you should try taking some of those fake lashes off Nicki.   You might able to see things a little more clearly!

A source close to proud parents-to-be Beyonce and Jay Z, has revealed that the couple’s child, who is due in February 2012, is going… to be…

A girl!

Beyonce is thrilled she’s having a daughter. She and her mother are so close, and she’s wanted to have that relationship with her own child.

This little gal is, without a doubt, going to be the sassiest little diva ever born – word has it that Miss B is already designing a 2,200 square foot nursery for her little bundle of joy.

They do know they’re giving birth to just one child and not a whole litter…right?

While in Le Gay Paris, for the premiere of his film Breaking Dawn, Twilight star Robert Pattinson took time to visit with and sign autographs for his adoring Parisian fans.

What a guy!

Fans waited outside the garage where Pattinson’s car was parked, their ears pressed against the door, waiting for a glimpse of their favorite vampire.

Along for the autograph session was Pattinson’s Breaking Dawn co-star Ashley Greene who was trés gentille to each of the fans she interacted with.
