Billboard Magazine officially announced this week that country recording artist Taylor Swift will be receiving the “Woman of the Year” award at the 2011 Billboard Women in Music event on Dec. 2 in New York City.

Raise your hand if you’re surprised.

Swift, who’s sold more records than, well, anyone in the past year, is the youngest artist to ever receive this honor – and it makes sense:  At 21, she’s already won four Grammy Awards, gone quintuple platinum and been bum-rushed onstage by an angry hip-hop artist.  So yeah, she’s pretty advanced.

According to Bill Werde, Billboard’s Editorial Director,

Taylor has shown the power of good songwriting with music that has transcended genres, and we’re thrilled to recognize all of her successes over the past year by honoring her with the Billboard Woman of the Year Award… At the young age of 21, Taylor has already made a major impact on music and has been an incredible role model for aspiring singers/songwriters and young women everywhere.  I look forward to watching her career continue to flourish in the years to come.

Kind of makes you want to get up off the couch and do something, don’t it?

Teen power couple, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been battling breakup rumors since they “officially” announced their relationship back in March, but is their fairy tale romance actually about to hit the skids?

Sources report that Selena 17, is getting fed up with her beau’s childish ways.

Justin is still like a kid… All he wants to do is watch movies and play video games… Selena is very much a young woman…She wants to go out and have romantic dinners but that’s not happening.

I guess a private dinner at The Staples Center and watching Titanic on the JumoTron just doesn’t do it for some people…

While none of the breakup rumors have been confirmed, I think it’s safe to say that these two lovebirds won’t be headed down the aisle anytime soon.

P.S.  Titanic?  Really, Justin?  I mean, weren’t you like seven when that movie came out?

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale joined forces with former Saved by the Bell star Leah Remini for a hilarious Funny or Die video, spoofing the TLC reality show Toddlers and Tiaras.

In the video, “The Tis” plays Mackenzie, a grownup toddler in a tiara, who at 25-years-old, is still sucking on a binky and competing in the 5-7-year-old division of pageants.  May sound a little weird (and it is), but Mackenzie’s mom Juana says they do it because this division is where her daughter shines brightest.

She’s been in 5,000 pageants and won 3,213 crowns… It makes it all worth it.

Ashley does a phenomeonal job playing the obnoxious, attention-grubbing, little brat – maybe all those years spent portraying Sharpay weren’t just so she could cozy up next to Zefron…

Actress/Singer/and now, best-selling author, Hilary Duff appeared on Good Morning America this mornin’ to promote her new book Devoted, and (most importantly), to gush about being a new mommy – almost!

Duff looked radiant as she chatted on the GMA stage (it’s just not fair how celebs always seem to look uber-fantastic while their preggers!) while she dished about life being married to NHL star Mike Comrie and her late-night pregnancy cravings…

When I get something on my mind I want, I want it now. I’m ferocious… I’m always up for red hots, which is so weird because I’ve never liked them before. Thank god, it isn’t fried and covered in butter.

What, you think you’re too good for battered and fried Red Hots, Mrs. Comrie?  Don’t knock it ’till you’ve tried it!

Is former Disney sweetheart Demi Lovato rekindling her romance with ex-BF Wilmer Valderrama!?

Well, not quite, although the two were spotted together at a Halloween bash in L.A. over the weekend.  (Can you spot Wilmer pulling a “that guy” in Demi’s photo?)

Apparently, Demi and some gal pals hit up the same Hollywood bash as Wilmer and his buddies, but despite the couple calling quits back in June, there didn’t seem to be any bad blood between them.

Get it?  Halloween?  Bad blood?  It’s a vampire joke people, c’mon!

Who knows, maybe these two lovebirds will find their way back into each others’ hearts again soon!

ABC Family’s new hit show “The Lying Game” tells the story of twins, Emma Becker and Sutton Mercer (played by Alexandra Chando), separated at birth who switch places in their quest to find their biological mother. The TV series based on the books by Sara Shepard (author of Pretty Little Liars) of the same title was just picked for a full season.

When Emma, a kind-hearted foster kid, switches places with her identical sister, Sutton, a spoiled brat adopted by a wealthy family who is apparently living every teenager dream, their lives will never return to status quo as they threaten to uncover their family’s darkest secrets.

The Lying Game 2×08 – “Never Have I Ever” – Synopsis:

With tensions already high, Emma is thrown into a tailspin when her creepy foster brother, Travis, shows up from Las Vegas. Seeing he has an upper hand with Emma, Travis decides to use his knowledge of Emma’s situation to his benefit. With her relationship with Ethan still strained, she has no one to turn to and forced to go along with Travis’ plan if she has any hope of getting him to leave her alone. But with her old life looming over her, will this be the straw that breaks Emma’s back? Meanwhile, Sutton is forced into Emma’s life when she is sent back to Las Vegas.
