While his girlfriend was off having the time of her life performing at Madison Square Garden, pop star Justin Bieber was hard at work taping an episode of The Late Show with David Letterman.

The topic of conversation, of course, was the impending paternity lawsuit regarding Bieber allegedly fathering the child of a crazed (yes, crazed) fan.  While the accusations were indeed serious, the Biebs and Letterman took the interview as an opportunity to make light of the situation – and take a few jabs at “Baby Mama”, Mariah Yeater.

Dave opened the interview by asking Justin about the case and told the 17-year-old that he “saw red” when he heard about the lawsuit and that he could instantly “smell a weasel.”

Smirking, Justin replied,

I think I could smell a weasel too… You know it’s pretty crazy, these people make up false allegations.

The interview continued with Letterman asking Justin all the specifics about the DNA test he consented to in order to prove his innocence.

“Was there any disrobing?” The Late Night host asked.  ”No, I don’t think so.” responded Bieber.

You don’t think so?  Do you not remember whether or not you got undressed?  Hmmmm, sounds like Mariah may have a case after all…

Taylor Swift, who recently teamed up with Goo Goo Dolls frontman Johnny Rzeznik for a stirring rendition of the hit Iris at Madison Square Garden, surprised fans with yet another A-lister duet during her concert Tuesday night.

Swift partnered up with fellow pop star and BFF Selena Gomez for their version of Selena’s hit Who Says.  That’s right ladies and gentleman, more proof that when you’re famous, you can basically do whatever you want – and bring your friends along for the ride.

The pair looked like they were having a great time together on stage, and the crowd certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves as well.  Twas a great night to be a Tween at MSG.

Although Katy Perry and husband Russell Brand have gone very public in recent weeks about wanting to start a family, the pop star swears that she’s not pregnant… yet!

According to an interview with The Insider, Katy insists that she’s not quite ready to give up her party girl ways for motherhood.

I still love drinking alcohol so [I'm] not [pregnant] yet. I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell and if you want to make that pregnant that’s your problem.

Whoa there Katy.  Retract those fangs!  No one’s saying you’re chubbing out – relax and go get yourself a double-double animal style, guilt-free!

Jessica Simpson’s never been known for her eloquence, so when asked about how she plans to make motherhood fashionable, it’s no surprise that the 31-year-old mama-to-be veered off track just a touch…

I like wearing things more fitted. You want to show off your bump! It’s just so fun. You don’t want to wear muumuus so you can moo around town.

Real nice, Jess.

Simpson, who is slated to be one of the “professionals” on NBC’s upcoming reality show, Fashion Star, says she’s learned from her fashion mistakes of the past and is now more excited than ever to be a part of her Jessica Simpson line of shoes and apparel.

I’m in all those meetings… I know the zipper pulls, I know what you’re going to be purchasing next spring. I know what’s going to be trending. It’s really fun to take all those meetings and try and play great guessing games of what the public’s going to buy.

My guess is, after reading this, one thing they’re not going to be buying is muumuus.

She may have won the American Music Award for favorite female country artist, but that doesn’t mean Taylor Swift can’t get down with some rock ‘n’ roll!

Swift teamed up with pop/rock legend, Johnny Rzeznik of The Goo Goo Dolls Monday night, during her first of two shows at Madison Square Garden to perform Rzeznik’s hit Iris, which Swift calls, “one of the greatest songs of all time.”

The duo sounded pretty good together, and it probably didn’t hurt things that they had every parent in the place singing along with them.

Showstopper Nicki Minaj waltzed down the red carpet at the American Music Awards last night in a Oscar de la Renta green silk gown with a black lace bodice.  The gown, while gorgeous in theory, looked frumpy on the voluptuous Minaj, who did her figure far more favors when she donned a “futuristic” getup for her performance with David Guetta.

Minaj went out on a limb by going with this middle-of-the-road de la Renta, but overall the look falls flat.

Recording artist Selena Gomez turned heads on the American Music Awards red carpet last night in a Giorgio Armani gown with an open back and plunging neckline.  Gomez and boyfriend Justin Bieber, who donned a velvet tuxedo (what?!), walked the red carpet hand-in-hand, looking in love as ever, despite recent turmoil surrounding Justin’s alleged infidelity.

I think Selena looked breathtaking, but Justin… Justin – you need to fire your stylist.

Although we’re not really sure why, pop star Justin Bieber consented to a DNA test to prove definitively that he is not the father of Mariah Yeater’s three-month-old son, Trystin.

Oooh wait, yes, we know why.  He did it because he’s going to sue the bejeezus out of Mariah and her legal team once he clears his name.

Nooow we’re cookin’ with gas.

According to Bieber’s attorneys, while there was much speculation to the contrary, there was never any chance that the Biebs would’ve settled in this case and the results of the DNA test will be the final nail in the coffin of the impending paternity lawsuit.

Your move, Yeater.

She’s done it again, ladies and gentlemen!

At the American Music Awards last night, country artist Taylor Swift went home with several more AMA statuettes for her collection, but this time she took home the pièce de résistance – the AMA for Artist of the Year!

The 21-year-old singer was also crowned Favorite Female Country Artist and Favorite Country Album, as only teenaged girls were allowed to cast ballots in this years voting for the AMAs.  ;)

From the podium, Swift thanked her fans, family and “the little sister she never had”, Selena Gomez.  Insert “awww” or “uuugh”

Now, I get that Taylor’s a country icon and all, but with the breakout year that Adele has had (not to mention her vastly superior vocal talent), wouldn’t she be the more appropriate choice for Artist of the Year?

The latest installment of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, smashed box office records this weekend, making $139.5 million domestically and $283.5 million worldwide.  Those numbers make it the #5 biggest opening in cinema history!

#5 biggest, eh?  So, what films were that much better that they beat out Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the rest of the pack -er- cast?

You probably won’t be surprised by the answers:
