If there was a way to write out in words the way Bugs Bunny looks when he sees a beautiful women – well, we’d do that here.

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks looked absolutely gorgeous at Tuesday night’s premiere of her latest film Sparkle.  The 22-year-old star, who’s currently dating hip hop artist Jason Derulo, showed off her newly svelte figure in a red peplum sheath with matching patent leather stilettos.

When asked about her secret behind her recent 50-pound weight loss, the affable singer replied,

There is no secret… It’s just better eating and working out! It’s definitely a daily thing.

My mom’s best friend is a Zumba instructor and I loved it… I started with walking then went to jogging and then Zumba… I started [working with a trainer] and we did 30 minutes of circuit training… So I didn’t feel like I needed to be in the gym for two hours.

The now-film star’s work(out) ethic has certainly paid off – Jordin landed the cover of this month’s Shape Magazine!

I could only dream of having a cover and looking like that… I thought, ‘I did it!’ I had to walk back to my dressing room and . . . pull myself together because I was overwhelmed. I cried. I shed a little tear.

Way to go Jordin!  We’ve been rooting for you since A.I. Season 5!
