If you didn’t catch the sarcasm there (although we were laying it on pretty thick), we’re not all that torn up about that fact that One Direction’s Zayn Malik has deactivated his Twitter account.

Don’t get us wrong, we love Zayn and all, but we’ve heard this sob story before.  We’ve heard it from Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj, Alec Baldwin and Charlie Sheen and sooner or later they all came craaaaaaawling back.

So when we hear Zayn saying,

The reason i don’t tweet as much as i use to, is because I’m sick of all the useless opinions and hate that I get daily. goodbye twitter

We know all he really means is, “I need more time to play Draw Something on my iPhone, so I’m taking a break from Twitter until everybody complains enough that I’m gone.
