Although the boys of One Direction didn’t intend to release their new single “Live While We’re Young” for several more days, the internet gods have done us all a huge favor and leaked the video for the tune, forcing the band to bump up their release date.

We know Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan are probably pretty bummed that things didn’t go exactly as they were planning, but we’re not going to pretend like we’re not super stoked to check out this new song a few days earlier!

In an official statement, the boys of 1D explained that they moved the song’s release date up to September 20th because the version of their video that was leaked was a poor, pirated copy and they didn’t want their fans to get anything less than the very best of what One Direction has to offer.

We wanted our fans to see the video and hear the single in the proper way so we’ve moved the premiere to tonight. We’re really excited about “Live While We’re Young” we’ve worked really hard on it and we can’t wait for everyone to see and hear it later today!

Neither can we!
