Taylor Swift Releases ANOTHER John Mayer Song?
We all love a good angry breakup song, but c’mon, two jams about the same Ex? Isn’t that a little overkill?
According to sources, Taylor Swift’s new song “I Knew You Were Trouble” is tooootally about her ex-BF John Mayer. During an interview with Good Morning America, Swift revealed the song is about,
Kind of being frustrated with yourself because you have your heart broken and you knew when you first saw that person you saw all these red flags and you just went for it anyway.
Sounds to us like the song could be about any of Taylor’s exes, like Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Lucas Till and Cory Monteith and Jake Gyllenhaal - especially the verse about being a “notch in your belt”.
A new notch in your belt is all I’ll ever be/ And now I see, now I see, now I see/ He was long gone when he met me/ And I realize the joke is on me
To be fair, Mayer is probably the biggest troublemaker of the group, so we guess we’ll just have to throw caution to the wind and say that ”I Knew You Were Trouble” is 100% definitely, without a question, absolutely, maybe about him!
