President Barack Obama Sits Down for LIVE MTV Interview – VOTE
In an effort to reach out to younger voters, President Barack Obama is scheduled to sit down for a live interview with Sway Calloway of MTV News later this evening. Throughout the broadcast, the president will be answering questions submitted via Twitter and Facebook regarding everything from the state of the US economy to – well, who knows!? It’s gonna be LIVE!!
“Power of 12″ campaign spokesperson and MTV star Andrew Jenks will be on the ground at a college campus in Washington D.C. during the interview and is speaking out about why it is important for both President Obama and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney to reach out to the US’s 45 million voters age 18-29.
45 million young people are eligible to vote – the largest potential voting bloc in the country. If one of the candidates can really appeal to my generation this year and motivate them to get out and vote in some of these swing states, they can hold a serious advantage.
So true Jenks. So true.
Tune in to MTV tonight at 5pm EST and be sure to submit your questions for the POTUS here!
