Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence says she will be spending her Christmas holiday at a shooting range in Kentucky with her brother.

It would be sad if it wasn’t so… impressive?

My brother just told me in an e-mail that we’re all going to go clay pigeon shooting. He found this place where they let you shoot clay pigeons and then give you dinner afterwards. He’s real excited about it. We’ve never done it before. I don’t know what his shooting skills are like — I’m sure they’re better than mine. I’m going to have to bring my bow and arrow.

For those of you who don’t know “clay pigeons” are little, round disks used for moving target practice.  Not ceramic figurines of real pigeons.  Which is what we thought up until, like, five minutes ago.

Lawrence has been on location shooting Catching Fire in Hawaii for the past several months, so we’re sure some time at home with her family will do her good!  Even if their traditions are a little… unorthodox.
