Aimee Teegarden ‘Scream 4′ Premiere

Written by Violet on April 12, 2011 – 5:39 pm -

Aimee Teegarden walked the red carpet for the premiere of Scream 4 at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Monday, April 11th.

The former Friday Night Lights star wore a beautiful and classic white strapless Emporio Armani dress and Judith Leiber bag for the evening.

Teegarden was asked by MTV about her character’s chances of being the killer in the movie and said no way – her hair is far to awesome for that of a maniacal slasher!

“Why am I not the killer? I’m not the killer because I have great hair in the movie,” the 21 year-old joked. “And if you have great hair, you don’t die — bottom line.”

Written by Violet on April 10, 2011 – 1:13 pm -

Aimee Teegarden attended the 32nd Annual College Television Awards held at the Renaissance Hotel Hollywood in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 9th. The competition is presented by the Emmys Foundation and recognizes excellence in college students who produce video, digital and film entries.

Teegarden, who stars in Disney’s upcoming movie PROM, wore a pale yellow shift dress with satin purple peep toe shoes for the event.

The 21 year-old actress is making an appearance at Macy’s Union Square store in San Fransisco on Wednesday, April 13th with her PROM costar Thomas McDonell at 6pm.

The first 250 fans will get autographs and you can bring your gently used prom dress to the event and donate it to The Princess Project, a local chapter of DonateMyDress.org which gives out the pretty special occasion frocks and accessories to girls who couldn’t afford them otherwise.

PROM opens in theaters on April 29th and Aimee is also in Scream 4, opening April 15th.

Jackson Rathbone Web Series “Aim High” – PHOTO

Written by Violet on November 29, 2010 – 2:14 pm -

Jackson Rathbone is always busy with multiple projects. The Twilight actor is starting work on Breaking Dawn, keeping a web diary of his band 100 Monkeys and is starring in a new web series “Aim High” with Aimee Teegarden. The photo above is Rathbone as Nick, a teenage spy posing as an ordinary high schooler:

The actor’s playing Nick Green, a high school student with a side job as an international spy. Nick is one of the US government’s 64 trained teenage operatives and just blew a hit he had on a Russian mercenary named Boris the Bear (Clancy Brown). He’s juggling the ripple effects of that with his secret love for Amanda Miles (“Friday Night Lights’” Aimee Teegarden). The major problem there is that she’s got a jealous boyfriend (Jonathan McDaniel) who just so happens to be the swim team captain.

The full series will released online and as a DVD sometime in 2011.

Jackson is still in high school in this? Well, I do happen to adore him so I will catch this anyway – but I have to admit, I’m getting tired of actors in their late 20s and early 30s playing high school students. I understand when you need an actor who won’t age significantly as a vampire but the rest of the time it’s ridiculous. Is it just me? What do you think?

Prom is coming from Disney. The movie stars Aimee Teegarden of Friday Night Lights and centers around multiple couples and their relationships with each other as they get ready for the biggest night of their senior year lives.
