This week, the ultra-successful social video app Viddy, announced that they will be launching a clip countdown show that will feature all the best celebrity, comedy, dancing, sports and music clips of the week.

Move over Tosh.0, there’s a NEW countdown show in town!

But be sure to get your Androids, iPhones and flip ph- (wait, no not your flip phones.  Sorry guys.) ready because this ain’t no ordinary clip show.  The series, which has been lovingly dubbed The Viddy-O Show will feature the best Viddies from app users all over the world!  Which pretty much means it’s sure to launch the career of  tons of new rising stars – so if you’re looking to become the next Justin Bieber, Carley Rae Jepsen, Greyson Chance or well, any other internet sensation, be sure to submit your best Viddy ASAP!

Hosted by Ed Bassmaster, GioZell Green, Nathan Barnatt and Timothy DeLaGhetto, The Viddy-O Show will air every Wednesday on the Viddy YouTubechannel and feature segments like “The Victorious Viddy” and “Probably Single Too”.

It’s a Christmas miracle!

Viddy, the social media video sharing app that’s taken the music world by storm is now available for your Android smartphone or tablet.  The app, which allows users to create and share their own music videos featuring soundtracks from their favorite artists, can now be downloaded in the Google Play Store.

And Viddy isn’t just for us fans!  Celebs like Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, Colbie Caillat, Carly Rae Jepsen and Owl City are all members of the Viddy family!

With their new album The Midsummer Station taking the world by storm , synth-pop group Owl City is teaming up with the popular iPhone App VIDDY, to give fans a chance to go behind-the-scenes at one of their concerts and hang with frontman Adam Young!

The group’s latest single “Good Time”, in which they collaborated with “Call Me Maybe” sensation Carly Rae Jepsen, is also the latest addition to the VIDDY music bed arsenal, allowing fans to make their own 15-second music video to the tune of an Owl City hit record!

According to a spokeperson for the band’s record label, Universal Republic,

It made sense to partner with a great app like Viddy to give Owl City fans a ‘Good Time’ and expose the song to a new audience… Hoot Owls are among the most creative people online and we look forward to seeing all the different ways they express themselves using VIDDY.

After the success of her wildly successful single “Call Me Maybe”, Carly Rae Jepsen has turned her sights to the release of her forthcoming album “Kiss”.

Oh yeah, her album’s called “Kiss” – did you not know that?  Oh well then, the title of this article may have been a little confusing for you

Although he’s busy with rehearsals for his upcoming tour, Carly’s mentor Justin Bieber took time out of his busy schedule to promote his fellow Canadian’s project.

For her part, Carly was more than excited about The Bieb’s complement,

I was stoked, him and Scooter [Braun]. Scooter called me … and he’s like ‘It’s fantastic, you should be pumped,’ and it’s not often that I say that I am, but I am pumped. I hope people like it, but it’s fun to know that my friends and family and people around me are digging it, and hopefully everyone else likes it, too.

On the Billboard charts that is…

As of this week, pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen now holds the Billboard Magazine record for most consecutive weeks at #1 for her hit “Call Me Maybe”.

No duh.  That song is freaking fantastic!

So which music superstar did she have to dethrone to nab that title?  Why, the reigning queen of pop herself, Lady Gaga!

Never one to be outdone, Gaga took to her Twitter to let the newbie know that she’s not going down without a fight!

@carlyraejepson I SEE you just swooped in and broke my BORN THIS WAY record of the most weeks at #1. DONT GET COMFORTABLE IM COMING FOR YOU.”

Gaga will have her moment in the spotlight again soon – her new album is due out in 2013 and although she won’t release the title of the record this September, she did give fans a sneak peek at one of the tracks this week, when she drove through NYC blasting it on her car stereo!

Tonight marks the Opening Ceremonies for the 2012 Summer Olympics and gang, we could not possibly be more excited!

To celebrate the commencement of one of the greatest traditions in all of sports, we just have to show you this hilarious video made by the U.S. swim team!  The 49 swimmers who make up the team got together to make this amazing spoof of Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit single “Call Me Maybe”.

Not only is the video totally LOL-worthy, but those boys in Speedos are definitely nothing to sneeze at!  Let’s um… go ahead and watch it again!

Carly Rae Jepsen, singer of this summer radio’s most singable ditty “Call Me Maybe”, may be riding high on the success of her first single, but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to spill the beans about all of her upcoming projects just yet!

During a recent interview with MTV, the brunette beauty would not divulge any details regarding a rumored duet with pop superstar Justin Bieber.

The Justin song, I’m kind of sworn to secrecy on because I think we want to release it together at one moment. But the rest of the album, I’m really excited for.

Oh Carly… it’s so cute that you think we care about the rest of your album!  All we want to hear is “Call Me Maybe” like 500 million more times and then your duet with Justin – nothing else.

We’re just kidding Carly; you know we love you!

While she’s keeping quiet about her project with The Biebs, Carly was all too happy to discuss another project she has in the works.

There’s one particular song that I can’t wait to share called ‘This Kiss’ that I wrote with Matthew Koma and Redfoo from LMFAO.

Carly’s American debut album hits stores this September!

According to reports, pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen has signed on to guest star on the season 5 premiere of CW’s 09210.  The 27-year-old will even be performing a brand new track from her debut album.

That’s right GossipTeen fans – she won’t be singing “Call Me Maybe”.  Call US disappointed!

90210 producers Patti Carr and Lara Olsen are more than excited about having the one hit wonder -er- singer, on their show:

We fell in love with her song when we first heard it, and used it in last season’s finale before it was a national sensation. We think she’s an exciting artist and are thrilled to be able to have her music on the show again, this time in a live performance in our season premiere.
