The ‘Red Dawn’ reboot is in full swing with a major new cast member on board, Connor Cruise. The son of actors Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, the 14 year old is taking a page out of the family business and becoming a working actor.

Cruise will play Daryl, the mayor of Spokane, and best friend of tech geek Robert.

The 1984 action movie is about a group of teenagers who form an insurgency when their town is invaded, this time by the Russians and the Chinese.

The cast of this movie is getting more interesting everyday. Josh Peck from Drake & Josh and Chris Hemsworth from Star Trek are also on board.

The 13 year-old adopted son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Connor Cruise is ready to make his movie debut playing a younger Will Smith in “Seven Pounds” to premiere tomorrow.
