Joe Jonas pops up on the “So Random Holiday Special” episode of Disney’s Sonny With A Chance on Sunday. The Christmas themed show has the cast of So Random performing comedy sketches including “Joe Jonas Gift Box,” “Holiday Cooking With Roadkill McGee” and “Bad Holiday Jobs.” Sterling Knight’s character Chad Cooper will host.

This episode of the Demi Lovato show was filmed long before Demi checked herself into rehab for personal issues. The special airs Sunday November 28th at 9pm on the Disney Channel.

At Prom, every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; Prom portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it’s a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De’Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events. There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there’s only one “Prom.” Featuring an emerging ensemble cast and a powerful soundtrack.

Prom debuts in April of 2011.

Disney XD is giving the greenlight to a second season of their hit show Pair of Kings. The successful show about fraternal twin brothers who find out they are Kings is doing well on the fledgling aimed-at-guys spin off channel of Disney. Mitchel Musso, Doc Shaw, Ryan Ochoa and Kelsey Chow costar.

The tree lighting ceremonies season is upon us and a couple of Disney stars (plus one from Nickelodeon) turned up for the Hollywood & Highland Tree Lighting Concert 2010 in the Center Court on Saturday November 20th.

Mitchel Musso and this year’s Dancing with The Stars finalist Kyle Massey, his brother Chris Massey and Nickelodeon star Drake Bell took the stage and performed for the waiting crowds.

Prom is coming from Disney. The movie stars Aimee Teegarden of Friday Night Lights and centers around multiple couples and their relationships with each other as they get ready for the biggest night of their senior year lives.

Demi Lovato is still in rehab in a facility near Chicago, Illinois but the 18 year-old star has hopes to be home for Thanksgiving. Lovato is receiving specialized treatment for emotional and physical issues that came to a boil on tour in South America with The Jonas Brothers late last month. The teen star is reportedly getting better (that’s GREAT news!) and wants to be surrounded by her family on Thanksgiving:

“She doesn’t want to be in the center for Thanksgiving and wants to go home,” the source told E!News.

While I hope she does get her wish, I also hope she doesn’t rush her treatment to come to an end before she is really ready. I do hope she stays in (if recommended) and gets the professional attention she needs and deserves. Missing one Thanksgiving versus staying a while longer and truly getting better – I hope she continues to make the right choices for herself that started with entering rehab.

The future of Demi Lovato’s TV show Sonny With A Chance, is up in the air. The Disney star, who entered rehab last week seeking treatment for “emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time,” was set to begin work on the show in January 2011 after returning from The Jonas Brothers Tour and holiday break. With Lovato currently in treatment for an undetermined amount of time, the show could be in jeopardy.

But now that Demi has entered a treatment center to deal with some personal issues — a rep for Disney tells us [TMZ,] “The health and well-being of Demi comes first and if we have to make other plans, we will.”

Whatever keeps Demi healthy and centered is the best thing that could happen. Hopefully she will come out of treatment and be ready to take on the world again, but if not I hope she and her family have the true courage it takes to walk away from Hollywood and stay focused on her recovery.

Disney opened a brand new store in Time Square in New York City today and American Idol alum Jordin Sparks belted out a couple of songs for the ceremony. Disney Times Square property is 20,000 square foot and is their largest retail store.

Sparks attended with NYC Mayor Bloomberg and sang her rendition of the classic Disney tune “Beauty and the Beast.”

Selena Gomez returned to Disneyland in Anaheim, California to tape the 2010 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade on Sunday morning November 6th. The Wizards of Waverly Place star has been a featured performer for the last three years running and this year she shares the stage with Nick Cannon and Big Bad VooDoo Daddy. One of the songs she is doing for the TV special this year is “Winter Wonderland.”

Did Disney cancel JONAS LA?

The fate of the show has been in question for a while as the ratings haven’t been what Disney hoped, but it does appear the decision has been made as the producer and director of both the show and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Paul Hoen announced (then pulled) on his twitter on Sunday morning November 6th.

Did the director jump the gun? Is this info accurate?
