Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick was named a Fun Fearless Male by Cosmopolitan Magazine for the February 2010 issue. Westwick, who will play Heathcliff in the big screen movie version of Wuthering Heights, attended Cosmo’s dude bash on Monday March 1st in New York City at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel to celebrate with other fun, fearless guys. DirectTV held it’s Fourth Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl in Miami Florida on Saturday February 6th. Twilight dudes Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz were on hand to play football with Gossip Girls stars Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr. Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman released his fashion guide You Know You Want It: Style - Inspiriation - Confidence on December 15, 2009. On Tuesday January 12, 2010 he gathered his GG guys and gals for a launch party celebrating the success of the book. Jessica Szohr, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Blake Lively and Michelle Trachtenberg were among those who turned out.

The end of 2009 is here today so let’s take a look back at the best TV shows aimed at and about teenagers. Some are more realistic than others and some are just downright guilty pleasures, but here are the Top 10 of 2009.

10. Gossip Girl - CW

Based on the books by Cecily von Ziegesar, the series about spoiled NYC teens on the Upper East Side was launched in 2007 and has been a favorite ever since. While ratings have slipped this year, it is still talked about. The cast (Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley) is super hot and garners lots of press. Hopefully the storylines will pick up and get it back on track.

9. Make It Or Break It - ABC Family

Chelsea Hobbs, Josie Loren, Ayla Kell and Cassie Scerbo are the gymnastic Olympic hopefuls at “The Rock” in Boulder Colorado, training for their shot at the big time. ABC Family’s hit show (scoring their second best premiere) gives athletic teen girls a chance to see and strive for something more than boys and clothes.

8. True Jackson, VP - Nickelodeon

Keke Palmer is terrific as the Vice President of a teen clothing line and her navigation in the world of business and all the normal drama that comes from being a teenager. Palmer is funny, charming and talented. Her costars Ashley Argota and Matt Shively play off her well and the premiere set lots of ratings records for the network.

Leighton Meester and her boyfriend Sebastian Stan often have to endure watching their partner make out with another actor for their show ‘Gossip Girl.’ While some find it awkward, Stan says it’s just a part of the job.

“It’s work and everyone shares the same mentality when it comes to that. But we all laugh about it,” he says. “The good part is I get to go home with her.”

The duo frequently has romantic scenes with their onscreen other halves: Ed Westwick (Meester) and Blake Lively (Stan). Great work if you can get it and your significant other is ok with it!

Taylor Momsen had a sixteenth birthday party this week, at Maritime Hotel’s Hiro Ballroom in New York City and performed with her band, Pretty Reckless. Her ‘Gossip Girl’ co-stars, Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick, were on hand helping her celebrate and squelched the rumors that they are no longer together.
