There is absolutely now way that we could love these two any more.  Unless, of course, they were the real Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen, but that’s just wishful thinking…

The Hunger Games co-stars Josh Hutcherson yucked it up during a recent interview with New York Magazine, reminiscing about a prank he pulled on Jennifer Lawrence  while filming THG last year.

I took a dummy, one that the tracker-jackers were supposed to have attacked, and I put it in Jennifer’s bathroom… When she opened the door, she peed her pants. Or so I was told — she told me later. I did not get visual confirmation on that one.

Probably a good thing Joshua, probably a good thing.

The Hunger Games hits theaters next month and WE are practically peeing our pants in anticipation.  TMI?  Sorry about that…

As if we didn’t love these two enough already, The Hunger Games stars Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence opened up in a hilarious candid interview with MTV Rough Cut about their latest film and how they are absolutely, 100% nothing like Twilight.

Jennifer steals the show with her razor sharp wit and fantastic one-liners – who knew this girl was gorgeous AND funny?  Talk about a double threat – well, triple really, if you count her mad archery skills!

Our favorite part of the interview comes when Josh talks about his current reality TV obsession – you don’t want to miss this one!

Lionsgate Studios has released the final promotional poster for The Hunger Games and it has us even more excited about the film’s upcoming release – as if that were even possible!

If this movie doesn’t live up to all the hype – we are going to be some verrrrry sad little campers.

Just in case you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard all about THG series, it stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen - a teenaged girl forced to fight for her life against her peers in a reality show-themed, fight to the death.

Sounds awesome, right???

Okay, sorry about that, but for realsies – I could not be more amped up about the release of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games.  The adaptation of the first book in The Hunger Games series stars a trio of teen heartthrobs - Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth and promises to be one of the most talked about films of the year.

The movie hits theaters March 23, 2012 – who wants to camp out in front of the theater with me!?!?

Lionsgate Films, the studio behind turning The Hunger Games books into films, are taking a cue from Twilight and Harry Potter and splitting the final installment into an extra movie.

Just like Stephanie Meyers‘ Twilight series of three books becoming four movies, Suzanne Collins‘ three novels of THG will also add a fourth film.

Book one (The Hunger Games) and two (Catching Fire) will remain as one film each but the third and final book, Mockingjay, will be split for two blockbuster films.

Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth have all had the fourth film built into their contracts to avoid the negotiations and issues that popped up when Twilight became so huge and the studio decided to add the extra film.

This is awesome news!

Jennifer Lawrence ushers in the sunshine in bright eye-popping yellow on the May cover girl for Teen Vogue.

The 20 year-old actress who won the coveted part of Katniss Everdeen in the big screen adaptation of The Hunger Games, spoke to the magazine about landing the role and the fans reactions to her.

“The cool thing about Katniss is that every fan has such a personal relationship with her, and they understand and know her in a singular way,” Jennifer says. “I’m a massive fan too, so I get it.”

Lawrence said Katniss’ strength and edge is tempered with a softness and feels grateful for director Gary Ross & author Suzanne Collins‘ support.

“She’s incredibly powerful, brave, and tough—and yet she has a tenderness and complexity,” Jennifer says. “It was very humbling hearing that Suzanne and Gary feel that I embody those traits.”

Before she gets to work on THG with newly cast costars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, Lawrence will be seen this summer as Mystique in X-Men First Class with rumored boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

The Hunger Games casting is in full swing with director Gary Ross and author Suzanne Collins working on getting the right actor in the right role.

Jennifer Lawrence has been chosen as Katniss Everdeen but the next two big leads are still up in the air. Peeta Mellark is thought to be the role that is next on the casting list (with the role of Gale not far behind)

A few actors have confirmed they have tested for the part including Alex Pettyfer, Josh Hutcherson, Lucas Till, and Hunter Parrish are the more well known actors. Also said to be shortlisted for the role are Evan Peters from Kick Ass and Alexander Ludwig of Escape to Witch Mountain.

Now Pettyfer appears to have dropped off the list of final contenders so perhaps he is no longer in the running.

These are all really good choices but I have always like Hutcherson for the part.

Bombshell Jennifer Lawrence was as hot as can be on the red carpet of the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at The Kodak Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 27th.

The 20 year-old actress chose a form fitting red hot Calvin Klein custom dress with Judith Leiber clutch for the 2011 Oscars.

Lawrence is nominated for Best Actress for her performance in Winter’s Bone.

Jennifer Lawrence attended The 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards at Santa Monica Beach in California on Saturday, February 26th.

Wearing a Dolce & Gabbana white openwork skirt with lace embroidery, a georgette bodysuit and her hair long and wavy, Lawrence had an informal, yet still dressed up look for the ceremony.

The 20 year-old actress will walk the red carpet for tonight’s 83rd Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles.

The Winter’s Bone actress is nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role. She is up against the odds-on favorite Natalie Portman but she could surprise everyone at Sunday’s event.
