So this should be interesting…

After months of hype, American Idol premiered on FOX last night with a brand spanking new judges table featuring Keith Urban, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and of course, veteran Randy Jackson.

Also new to the set were the slew of nasty, backhanded, catty, cutthroat remarks that divas Mariah and Nicki were slinging at each other all evening…

During one scene, Mariah is caught complaining about Nicki being allowed to bring her dog to the set AND about her ginormous (and slightly hilarious) majorette hat.

We can have accessories? I didn’t know that was allowed…

Sorry Mariah, but after all your years in the Diva business that’s the best dig you could come up with?  Pretty sad.

Later in the episode, Nicki was caught by A.I. cameras calling the senior singer a “B*tch” under her breath, which prompted the “All I Want for Christmas” songstress to lash out saying,

Anything that starts with a ‘B’ and ends with an ‘itch’ – I rebuke it!

American Idol newcomer Nicki Minaj has flown off the handle yet again after her run-in with fellow AI judge Mariah Carey.  Since the video of their altercation went viral, sources have reported that Mariah is accusing Nicki of threatening to kill her!  Apparently, Mariah says that she overheard the “Boys” singer saying,

If I had a gun, I would shoot the b**ch.

Since Mariah’s accusations were made public during Nicki’s apearance on The View this morning, Minaj has taken to her Twitter to defend herself.

The struggle to be a victim is real in these streets. Lmaooooooooooo. The struggle to not have the kid on the show is real in these streets. Lmaooooooooo.

The singer went on to Tweet:

All I do is compliment u. That’s not enuff? Ur a legend, cheer up. U don’t have to run down ur resume or feel intimidated. Shady McGrady…I thought we resolved it yesterday but I see u want ur pity party to continue. So I’m bout to po dot tea.

I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn

According to reports, rookie American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are already at each other’s throats and it’s only the audition phase!

Apparently, Nicki has already had enough of Ms. Carey’s diva-esque attitude and wants nothing to do with the “Triumphant” singer’s antics.

I told them, I’m not f***ing putting up with her f***ing highness over there.

Thanks for cleaning it up for us Nicki.  Always a class act.

In other news, fellow AI newcomer Keith Urban has requested a seat change for the remained of the season.

Sine new broke that both Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler would be leaving their posts on American Idol, dozens of celebrity names have been thrown into the mix regarding who should replace them.

Names like Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Will.i.Am and Fergie to name a few… or okay, more than a few.

However, according to reports, it looks like pop diva extraordinaire Mariah Carey will be beating them all to the punch.  Although her husband Nick Cannon made the very public proclamation earlier this week that the hit FOX reality competition couldn’t “afford” his wife, the 42-year-old songstress appears to be close to penning a deal worth more than $17 million to join AI’s judges panel.

Guess they scrounged through the couch cushions and came up with a little more loose change than they were expecting!

Justin Bieber recently teamed up with pop icon Mariah Carey to rerelease her 90′s Christmas hit, “All I Want for Christmas is You” as a duet for his first-ever holiday album, “Mistletoe“.

You’d think this would be a terrific match, right?  Two pop stars, belting out a Christmas anthem during the most wonderful time of the year?

You’d think that, but you’d be wrong.

The Bieb’s vocals are autotuned out the wahzoo and it just doesn’t have the same Christmas magic as the original.

Pop diva Mariah Carey and her record producer husband Nick Cannon are finally letting the world get their first look at their adorable twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

The little bundles of joy were born back on April 30th, but Mariah and Nick chose to wait to reveal their little angels until the babes were healthy little six-month-olds.  Good call Mom and Dad!

After giving brith, Mariah sat down with Barbara Walters to discuss the difficulty of carrying twins.

I don’t think I understood the enormity and the magnitude of what it really does to your body … Carrying two babies.  Unless somebody’s been through it,  it’s difficult to understand what I went through, because my pregnancy was very unique in terms of what happened to me… I had serious back problems… I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to walk properly again. It was a huge strain.

Now that all that’s behind her, Mariah’s looking better than ever – it must be that new mommy glow
