Liam Hemsworth traveled across the pond to the Cannes Film Festival this week to promote Catching Fire, the latest installment in the Hunger Games trilogy.

The 23-year-old actor was spotted hobnobbing withA-listers like film costars Jennifer Lawrence and Sam Calfin and hitting up various after-hours events, like the VIP Room at the Belvedere party where he was seen puffing on a few Marlboro Lights and politely chatting with two pretty female fans.

Oh yeah, one other thing we should mention – fiance Miley Cyrus was nowhere to be seen.

Apparently, Ms. Cyrus was back in L.A. working on her forthcoming album and wasn’t able to make the trip to Cannes.  To his credit, although Liam was spotted chatting with several attractive female fans over the course of the weekend, the hunky Australian appeared to be on his very best behavior.

Which, considering Miley just started wearing her engagement ring out in public again, is a very good thing!

Just when it seemed like things were on the up and up for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth…

According to reports, Liam’s brothers Luke and Chris Hemsworth are more than a little disappointed in their bro’s choice in a life partner.  So disappointed in fact, that they staged an intervention for the 23-year-old, urging him to end his engagement – once and for all.

A source close to the brothers revealed,

They want him to end the romance for good.

Apparently Chris and Luke simply don’t approve of Liam’s four-year relationship with his fiance and want the pair to go their separate ways before they hurt each other again.

Well, we can’t say we blame them, but we certainly wouldn’t want to be around the next time they run into Miley after she hears about this!

If even Liam’s brothers aren’t on board with this marriage, we can’t see this relationship lasting much longer…

A very punk rock version of former Disney star Miley Cyrus graces the cover of the summer 2013 issue and whoa baby – she ain’t no baby any more!

The 20-year-old starlet flaunts some super sexy abs and some maaaajor boobage in the sultry photo shoot featuring her in head-to-toe leather.

Speaking to the ‘zine about her style evolution over the years, the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer shared that she doesn’t regret any of her recent style, ahem, choices.

I’m going to change, I’m going to be different, I’m going to do what I want to do. I chopped my hair and bought a pair of Docs and never looked back.

In my mind I’m [rapper]  Gucci Mane, but on paper, I’m a pop artist.

With regards to recent rumors hinting at a rough patch with finance Liam Hemsworth, Miley didn’t hold back regarding the source of their romantic woes.

I’m not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work. I don’t have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don’t. I’d rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I’m at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio. I put this record before everything, and I’ve never done that with anything. I’ve put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it.

What?  You mean you and your fiance have to work and you can’t hang out all day every day?  What a terrible burden to bear!  Wait a second while we go set up a foundation to collect funds for your sorry charity case!

Although current reports have surfaced that Miley Cyrus and fiance Liam Hemsworth may be putting the breaks on their four-year relationship, in the June issue of Elle, the former Hannah Montana star says that their commitment to each other is stronger than ever.

We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed. But we keep our relationship low-key and don’t talk about it any more.

You don’t talk about your relationship?  Yeah, that sounds like a good plan…

Apparently, good old Miley thinks that a lot of the trouble she faces in her relationship with Liam is rooted in their major level of celebrity (ugh, ya think!?) and their accessibility to their fans.

We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight — into my life and my puppies and my house –- and I just don’t feel they get that privilege any more. Like on my Twitter, I’m much more . . . not conservative, but you don’t see a picture of my dogs. You don’t get that personal stuff any more.

While we certainly miss all the up close and personal TwitPics Miley used to share via her Twitter account, we can totally understand that she and Liam have decided to privatize their romance.  Who needs millions of celebrity bloggers speculating about their wedding date and judging them at every turn!?!

Oh wait…

We can only imagine that while  Miley Cyrus was busy struttin’ her stuff in super short, short shorts earlier this week, she had one of our fave Destiny’s Child songs bumpin’ in her head…

According to a source, the 20-year-old actress rocked sky-high stilettos while shopping and grabbing lunch with some “favs” in L.A. Thursday.  The social media maven Tweeted a photo of herself planting a smooch one of those “favs” who was noticeably not fiance Liam Hemsworth.

Although Miley and Liam both insist they are happier than ever, we sure hope that this random cheek-kissing doesn’t throw yet another wrench in their impending nuptials!

During an interview on the red carpet for the MTV Movie Awards last night, rapper Snoop Dogg opened up about his admiration for his new BFF Miley Cyrus.

Yeah, we’re just as surprised as you are…

Apparently, since the two collaborated on their new single Ashtrays and Heartbreaks Snoop has had nothing but love for the 20-eyar-old pop star and gushed,

We’re both going through transformation, we both love making music and doing what we do and speaking from our hearts, and it’s just a great collaboration.

Okay, we can kind understand that.  But we just couldn’t seem to swallow what Snoop said next:

Sorry Snoop, but we’ve GOT to ask – Are you HIGH?  One of the greatest musicians and personalities of all time?  We love ourselves some Miley, but that is just sooo not true.

Maybe Snoop knows something that we don’t… Or maybe he just got his hands on some really good hasheesh.

The 20-year-old ”Can’t Be Tamed” was spotted by photographers entering an L.A.-area recording studio decidedly braless yesterday.

But hey, at least she had on her engagement ring!

Her 3.5-carat engagement ring, in fact!  Although Miley was recently spotted without her ring during a rough patch with fiance Liam Hemsworth, we’re glad to see that ROCK back on her finger where it belongs!

Maybe this newfound bliss is due in part to Miley beginning to focus on her career again.  The former Disney star is back in the recording studio (sans undergarments…) working on tracks for her upcoming album – including her single featuring Snoop Lion, ”Ashtrays and Heartbreaks”.

The singer even posted a racy TwitPic of herself earlier this week along with the caption,

Amidst some tumultuous times with fiance Liam Hemsworth, now Miley Cyrus is having to fight off rumors that she’s rekindling a romance with one of her most famous exes – Nick Jonas!

After sources revealed that the two former Disney stars had lunched together at Paty’s Restaurant in L.A. Monday, Miley took to her Twitter (surprise, surprise) to debunk the rumor.

I literally haven’t seen Nick Jonas in years. Don’t believe everything you read, folks.

The snarky singer added,

Why are magazines allowed to publish straight bullsh-t? Look at my profile pic. Look at my finger. Idiots. I couldn’t have ‘ran’ into anyone because I haven’t [been out to eat] in public in weeks because of the amount of paparazzi outside my house.

That lovely “look at my finger” comment undoubtedly refers to allegations that Miley and her betrothed are heading towards Splitsville.

After rumors surfaced that Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus were ready to end their engagement, the pair shocked the world by reuniting in L.A. on Wednesday!

According to sources, although the couple has experienced “the worst fights of their relationship” over the past few months,  (Ahem, Miley’s cray cray makeover and Liam’s cray cray make outs…) the A-listers appear ready to put that all behind them.

Things are going well. They are happy.

Another source revealed,

Miley and Liam are talking.  But he needed a beat.

We’re glad to hear that the young lovers are back on track!  After Miley was spotted without her engagement ring last week, we were sure things were over for good!

Yesterday, “Heart Attack” singer and style chameleon Demi Lovato debuted her darling new ‘do to her 12.4 million closest friends via Twitter and we’ve got to admit – we L-O-V-E the look!

The 20-year-old X Factor host has admitted that she’s become a bit addicted to revamping her look – the girl’s sported at least a half dozen hair colors in the last year alone!  In a recent interview with The New York Times the songstress divulged that most of her fashion choices come out of sheer boredom.

That was just like, ‘What can I do next? I’m bored…

So we have to wonder, is that where her affinity for tattoos comes from?  The actress-turned-singer-turned-X Factor judge has been inked in 24 different places already!  She’s even admitted,

I feel like I have too many tattoos to go back to acting.

In Hollywood, there’s no such thing as too many tattoo, Demi!  Just ask Johnny Depp!
