The future Mrs. Conor Kennedy - oh sorry, excuse us – Taylor Swift debuted her new song “Ronan” last night at the Stand Up to Cancer Event, to raise money for cancer research.

Prior to taking the stage, the 22-year-old singer Tweeted,

I’m playing a new song ‘Ronan’ tonight on Stand Up For Cancer. It’ll be on iTunes tonight with all my proceeds to cancer related charities…

Swift penned “Ronan”, a song about a 3-year-old boy who lost his battle to cancer last year, after she was inspired by a blog post written by the boy’s mother, Maya Thompson.

It’s not big deal but…

During Nickelodeon’s 25th annual Kids Choice Awards this Saturday night, First Lady Michele Obama will honor country music superstar Taylor Swift.

Oh wait, that’s actually a huge deal.  Congrats Tay-Tay!

According to sources, Swift will be presented with The Big Help Award  for her charitable efforts with Habitat for Humanity, the St. Jude Medical Center, the Red Cross and The Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Not a bad little resume if we do say so ourselves!

Hopefully The Big Help Award won’t be the only KCA trophy that T-Sweezy takes home Sunday night – The 22-year-old songstress is also nominated for Best Female Singer and Best Song {“Sparks Fly”).

The Kids’ Choice Awards will air Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET and will be hosted by Will Smith.

Mark Salling had a packed weekend.

The Glee star hit up the 2011 MTV VMAs after party hosted by Candies at The Colony on Sunday but the day before, he was helping end childhood hunger.

The 29 year-old kicked off the ConAgra Foods Child Hunger Ends Here campaign to raise awareness and collecting donations for schools to help kids who are hungry or at risk for hunger.

“Be cool+register ur school for #childhungerendshere. My alma mater @LakeHighlandsHi is doing its part!” Mark tweeted today in support of the program.

Salling helped pack bags of food for kids who are hungry and in need of food this weekend. The food bags were donated to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

The 2011 Angel Awards for Project Angel Food were held on Saturday night in Hollywood with two Nickelodeon stars supporting the cause: Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande.

McCurdy, 19, wore a short sleeveless dress with red, white and black patterns and Grande, 18, wore a blue floral patterned, cap-sleeve dress from Tibi.

The iCarly and Victorious cuties posed together at the celebration which included celebs Jennifer Love Hewitt, Pauley Perrette and Jessica Lange.

McCurdy and Grande posed with NCIS star Perrette for a pic she posted to twitter saying they were “Sweet Beautiful Girls.”

“@PauleyP it was so wonderful meeting you! You’re so warm and funny. We have your show on at our house all the time!” Jennette tweeted.

Project Angel Food delivers meals to people suffering from HIV/AIDS, cancer and life threatening illnesses. The healthy meals are prepared and delivered in the Los Angeles area and the organization serves more than 13,000 meals a week.

Victoria Justice knocked everyone out in her red dress at the 2011 Do Something Awards that took place at The Hollywood Palladium last weekend.

The 19 year-old Nickelodeon star chose a very cute Jay Godfrey tiered & ruffled dress with leopard print peep toes for the blue carpet event celebrating the charitable works of celebrities.

At the ceremony, Justice was asked who she thought was the most influential person in music right now and the Victorious actress singled out Demi Lovato.

“I would have to say Demi Lovato is doing a really great job of that,” Justice told The Hollywood Reporter.

“Especially her coming out with all the things that she has opened up to the world about.  I think she is making a huge difference to other girls that are dealing with similar issues.

“Putting a face to the issues I think is a really important thing.  I think her music is reaching a lot of people as well.”

Victoria also said she will be visiting Africa sometime in the next week for her charity Girl Up!

Brittany Snow attended the 2011 Do Something Awards at the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday night.

The 25 year-old wore a vintage leopard print fitted and flared dress from Camilla and Mark Atlanta. Snow opted for bright gold heels from Giuseppe Zanotti with silver spikes coming out the back of the heel.

The Harry’s Law actress and Love Is Louder founder was a presenter for the ceremony.

Snow has signed on for the independent feature Would You Rather, which she will star in and co-produce.

Demi Lovato shined on the blue carpet of the 2011 Do Something Awards at the Hollywood Palladium this Sunday in Los Angeles.

Lovato, 18, wore a short white halter dress with plunging neckline and silver embellishments down the front. She pulled her hair back in a cute ponytail and chose white peep toe pumps to finish off her look.

The Camp Rock 2 star received an awards for the song she did with her ex, Joe Jonas. The song “Make A Wave” was honored with a angel wing sneaker trophy for Do Something Charity Song.

Kim Kardashian introduced Demi later in the program and the singer took the stage to give a fantastic performance of “Skyscraper.” It’s the first single off her upcoming album, Unbroken, due out September 20th.

The awards show will air on VH1 on Thursday, August 18th.

Honored for his good deeds, Justin Bieber walked the blue carpet for the 2011 Do Something Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California on Sunday, August 14th.

Bieber kept his shades on as he posed for photographers before heading inside to receive his winged sneaker trophy.

Actress Olivia Munn and comedian David Spade presented the 17 year-old singer the accolade for his work with Pencils of Promise, the organization that builds schools in impoverished nations.

The Hamptons had a couple of celebrity filled events this weekend – all raising money for charities – and Abigail Breslin was on hand checking them out.

The 15 year-old started out at the shopping extravaganza Super Saturday 14 in Water Mill, NY. Breslin shopped at the annual designer garage sale and took part in the carnival games that raised money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Breslin wasn’t the only teen celeb at the event. Emma Roberts and boyfriend Chord Overstreet were there and Joe Jonas‘ new girlfriend, model Karlie Kloss grabbed up some high-priced goodies on the cheap.

Abigail also attended the Oceana Hamptons Splash party on Saturday night. The event was held at a private residence with actor Ted Danson and Adrien Grenier.

Emma Roberts headed to Water Mill, NY for Super Saturday 14 – the annual event to raise money for charity and serious bargain shopping – on July 30th.

The 20 year-old actress checked out the deals and mingled with other guests including Kelly Ripa, Rachel Zoe, Christy Turlington and her boyfriend, Chord Overstreet.

Roberts and Ripa were co-hosts along with Donna Karan, and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund benefits from the designer garage sale, carnival games and rides all raising money for the organization.
