Disney star Demi Lovato teamed up with Seventeen Magazine and the Jed Foundation for a new campaign, “Love Is Louder”, to help teenagers deal with problems like depression, eating disorders and self-mutilation. Fantastic idea!

The 18 year-old, who recently went to rehab to deal with emotional and physical issues, expects to be able to reach teens by sharing her own experience as a Contributing Editor for Seventeen Magazine.

Demi said, “I’m so excited to be working with Seventeen and The Jed Foundation to help other teens talk about and cope with the problems we all face. My fans have been such an incredible support system for me—I hope I can repay this and help other girls learn from my experiences.”

Demi asks her fans to spread the message “Love Is Louder Than… the Pressure To Be Perfect” in this new PSA video. Check it out:

The social awareness group challenges conventional thinking and works to combat bullying by simply asking: Why does it matter?

Dianna Agron was among the celebrities who came out for a good cause and a healthy run.

Josh Duhamel’s Tokidoki Relief Run for Japan in Santa Monica brought good will and hopefully a lot of donations for the survivors of the devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami that hit Japan earlier this month.

The Glee star and her I Am Number Four costar Teresa Palmer ran the 2 mile course that coincided on an important day for Duhamel to remember – his wife, Fergie’s birthday!

Selena Gomez and The Scene performed at the 2011 Concert for Hope at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Los Angeles at the Universal City Walk to support the research and cancer treatment center City of Hope.

The annual event, now in it’s 3rd year, raises money and awareness for the institute working to prevent, treat and educate cancer patients.

Gomez stepped out on the red carpet wearing a cute black and white striped top with red knitted scarf and a set of dog tags almost hidden under the lacy knit. According to Tiger Beat, the dog tags are reportedly identical to the ones Justin Bieber wears.

The 18 year-old Disney star changed into a sparkling fuschia dress from Mandalay and silver ballet flats before hitting the stage. She and her band performed “Who Says” for the first time for the audience.

Disney star Demi Lovato, who just recently left rehab, is reportedly going to donate $1 million to help the victims of the devastating 8.9 magnitude earthquake and massive tsunami in Japan. Demi ROCKS!

The 18 year singer/actress was recently photographed holding a Japanese flag, which read “Please Help”. Demi is the first teen to make a big donation for Japan relief. If you want to follow Demi’s footsteps, you can help too.

Jonas Brothers’ Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas, who was accompanied by his wife Danielle Jonas, attended this year’s Jason Taylor Celebrity Golf Classic kick-off party at the Martorano’s inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida on Sunday (February 27).

The three seemed to have a good time as they took pictures with other guest and possibly fans of the Brothers. While everybody else was partying hard in Los Angeles, Nick and Kevin were helping the Jason Taylor Foundation, which helps South Florida’s children in need.

The swoosh is a thing of history…

Justin Bieber sent his fans and twitter into a frenzy with the news and photo of his signature ‘do getting cropped. The photo of Bieber in the chair shows Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox with the scissors but it was Justin’s stylist Vanessa who actually did the deed. (The singer said he was working with Rascal Flatts on a new video.)

Bieber called in to TMZ yesterday to talk about the cut and left a message on twitter to his fans:

“yeah so it’s true…i got a lil haircut…i like it…and we are giving all the hair cut to CHARITY to auction. Details coming soon.”

Most Beliebers were relatively happy with his new look (short on the sides, still a little long in the front but more versatile) however it has been said that 2000 people unfollowed his twitter in reaction to the cut!

What? That’s crazy! It’s cute. It’s not drastic and you fans had to know he’d want to change it eventually.

The 18 year-old has been under media scrutiny for the most part of her life, so Miley was bound to make a lot of mistakes. However, Miley also did many good things for other – she has her own Get Ur Good On, an organization linked to the Youth Service America program, and works with Blessing In a Backpack (also supported by Hilary!).

Miley delivered a good acceptance speech about the importance of giving back. Here’s what she had to say:

“I want [kids] to do something they love,” Miley said. “Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that’s the right thing to do or what their parents want or what’s important to people around them but what’s on their heart.”
