Working on a hit Broadway musical with 8 shows a week leaves you little spare time so it’s no big surprise that Daniel Radcliffe won’t be up Friday to watch the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

“I won’t be getting up at 4AM to watch the wedding. I’ll catch the highlights on CNN because they’ll be running something 24/7,” the Harry Potter actor told Celebuzz.

The British actor does send out well wishes for the famous couple.

“I am very happy for them. I wish them all the happiness in the world,” Radcliffe said.

While he wasn’t invited to the wedding and will sleep through it, Daniel did get some other good news today.

The 21 year-old is among the nominees for a 2011 Drama League Award for his role in the revival of the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Congratulation to Daniel.

Emma Watson says she feels for Kate Middleton with the intense scrutiny she’s under as she prepares for her wedding to Prince William and becomes a member of the United Kingdom’s Royal Family on April 29th.

“Poor girl. That must be an incredible amount of pressure. I hope she’s enjoying it. Must be intense,” she told the Associated Press.

The Harry Potter actress also spoke of the expectations she put on herself and why she chose to leave Brown University, at least temporarily.

“I just knew I was going to be beating myself up because I wasn’t going to be able to be doing the best that I knew that I could at school or in my job. If I’d been getting B’s or C’s I would’ve been really upset,” Emma said.

Watson just got a new costar for the movie The Perks of Being A Wallflower. The Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev is joining her and Logan Lerman for the film that should begin shooting in the Pittsburg, PA area early this summer.

And Happy Birthday Emma! She turned 21 today.

Everyone is angling for an invite to the April 29, 2011 wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Even actress Emma Roberts is interested in the ‘Royal Couple for the New Millenium’ and is hoping a certain red headed brother will get the ball rolling:

“I’m very excited about the royal wedding,” says the 19-year-old niece of Julia Roberts. “I think it’s going to be amazing. Both the Princes are so handsome. If Harry needs a date to the wedding, I’ll do it.”

C’mon Harry, we’ve all seen the internet rumor that you asked your old girlfriend Chelsy Davy, but Emma’s wardrobe is killer!

Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice attended the Royal Ascot 2010 in Ascot, Berkshire, England on Friday June 19th. The sisters were joined by Beatrice’s longtime boyfriend, American Dave Clark. The Princesses of York attended the final day of the week long racing event looking fabulous.

The Royal Ascot is famous for it’s strict dress code – morning suits for the men with top hats, and for women: no bare shoulders or midriffs, skirts must be knee length and a hat or fascinator must be worn. All three looked quite elegant for the end ceremonies.

Joe Jonas is spending time in Maun, Botswana with Prince William as the duo work together for conservation efforts in the African nation. Check out the interview with Joe above.

Prince William and Prince Harry are also taking part in World Cup festivities (England takes on Algeria on Friday) in South Africa later in the week.

Miley Cyrus met Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, on December 7th wearing a beautiful, but plunging neckline orange halter dress. The teen singer who just recently turned 17, was performing (along with Lady GaGa) at The Royal Variety Performance 2009 in Blackpool.

The actress of the upcoming movie The Last Song, will be spending her Christmas in the UK while touring, said she was unsure if she’d like British food.

“It’s a bit weird being in a different country that I’m used to, I’m like, ‘Is the food going to be the same as home?’ and I was kind of stressed about that. But it’s pretty similar, you know, there are some things I’ve got to get accustomed to.”

Because things like this don’t happen to you or me, (and I certainly don’t wish it on anyone, let alone my most favorite redheaded royal) I thought I would recap what a strange week it must have been to be Prince Harry.

Starting off his week, a pair of inept burglars attempted to break in to the home he shares with his brother, Prince William, as they complete their military training in the Shropshire area of the UK. The wannabe thieves are believed to have been clueless to who lived at the special house with 24 hour surveillance and armed guards. Seriously… duh!

Then comes word the brothers may have had their phones hacked by journalists. Two years ago, a private investigator and a former editor from England’s News Of The World magazine were sent to prison for the breach of privacy of some aides and secretaries to members of The Royal Family including their father, Prince Charles. New evidence is suggesting that the princes’ phones may have been compromised as well.

Detective Chief Superintendent Philip Williams, from the Metropolitan Police, raised the possibility at the Commons Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee.

When asked if he suspected journalists had hacked into the princes’ mobile phones, Mr Williams told the committee: “Yes, I think they may well have done.”

While that is disturbing and creepy, Harry can breathe a bit easier as the Taliban chief who threatened his life has been assassinated. A member of the Australian military found his approved target and killed Mullah Abdul Karim. Karim stated that Harry was “… our special enemy” when the prince was deployed to the Helmand province of Afghanistan in March of 2008. Karim was reported to be a heavy recruiter for the Taliban, disrupting election procedures and directly responsible for many attacks. The Australians ended his life on August 10th, but are just releasing the information now.

On top of all of that, Princes Harry and William have the anniversary of the fatal Paris car crash that took the life of their mother on August 31st, 1997. Princess Diana is missed by many people all over the world but certainly no one feels the loss more than her two sons.

After all that, kudos to Harry for keeping a low profile and his head on straight while all the madness and sadness erupts around him.

After a very successful trip at the end of May of this year, England’s Prince Harry may visit the United States more often to continue to garner support for his charity Sentebale. While in New York City last month the charming Prince, who is third in line to the British throne, was able to raise quite a bit of money for his organization in Lesotho, Africa to help ease the suffering of children who are affected by the AIDS epidemic.

“Harry’s polo match was a big success and raised a substantial six-figure sum,” says one of Harry’s chums. “He is keen for the American Friends of Sentebale to build on that success.”

We’d love to see more of the very attractive Prince here in the U.S. His mother, the late Princess Diana, was very fond of the time she spent here and while Prince Harry won’t be moving here, a few more jaunts to the States would be welcome.

The British heirs to the throne, Prince William and Prince Harry are eager to join up with their commrades in front line combat roles.

Last year, Prince Harry did get 10 weeks of fighting in Afghanistan until the news embargo on his whereabouts was broken by US website TheDrudgeReport.com. He was then pulled from the field because it was determined that it would be too risky for him and his fellow troops while the Taliban put a price on capturing the third in line to the throne.

While Harry is anxiously awaiting being allowed to return, William has not had the opportunity to be on the battlefield and wants the chance to see active duty.

William, 26, who is currently training with the RAF to become a search and rescue pilot and hopes to become operational in 2010, said: ‘To me, I didn’t join the forces to be mollycoddled or treated any differently. As far as I am concerned, in my eyes, if Harry can do it, then I can do it.”

The royal brothers are currently sharing a bachelor pad near Royal Air Force base in Shawsbury where they are training: William continues to train for helicopter search and rescue and Harry is learning to fly a combat Lynx helicopter.

Eccentric Prince Harry arrived in New York City today where he visited Ground Zero, planted a tree and spoke at the British Garden. The third in line to the British throne was followed around by a media frenzy.
