“New Moon” director Chris Weitz tells the third movie of the Twilight Saga, “Eclipse” will have a lot more action and will also include some steamy hot scenes featuring the Twilight trinity Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson).

Weitz is particularly looking forward to seeing the tent scene, in which Bella gets into a sleeping bag with Jacob while Edward watches. “I’m looking forward to the sleeping bag scene, I gotta say,” Weitz explained. “That’s going to be very steamy.” Oh! YES!

Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz hit Cosmo Magazine’s radar as a Fun Fearless Male for their February issue and the actor stopped by to party with the other guys Monday night in NYC. While Breaking Dawn is rumored to start filming this fall (and will be split into two films - just like the Harry Potter series finale) the Emmett Cullen actor isn’t resting on his vampire laurels. The actor is costarring with another Twi alum, Ashley Greene in Warrior and the latest Nightmare on Elm Street reboot. Oh yeah, and there are those hot hot hot seriously sexy Calvin Klein underwear ads…

This Twilight Saga “New Moon” deleted scene (Bob’s Bikes) will be featured in the movie’s DVD that comes out March 20. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is about to rebel and her father wants to send her back to her mother but she will get a bike and into a lot of trouble instead. The scene is kind of boring and pointless. What do you think?

Taylor Lautner has been attached to LOTS of projects lately: Northern Lights, Cancun, Max Steel, Stretch Armstrong, Abduction and of course The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. What he would or wouldn’t actually film, has been a matter of speculation for months. EW.com is reporting that Lautner has dropped out of Max in favor of Stretch and if the studio gets a director soon, he will film the hot hot hot Abduction before Breaking Dawn.

[...]the studio is frantically searching for a hot, young director to helm this action-adventure that reads like a teenage Bourne Identity. If, however, Lionsgate can’t secure the director in time, Lautner will remain a producer on the film and they will have to find another hot, young thing to star. Interestingly, Northern Lights, the movie that first propelled Lautner’s asking price up to $7.5 million and therefore stalled negotiations on Abduction, is definitely moving forward without the teen star.

What a convoluted mess - after all his hype (and it sure looks like it was ONLY hype!) Lautner will only actually be involved in Breaking D, Stretch A and maybe Abduction. Actually fewer projects for him may be better. I know I was sick of seeing his name for every single action movie - as if there are no other actors available.

How many movies will Breaking Dawn, the final chapter of The Twilight Saga be made into has been a guessing game for fans of the series for some time. Summit, the studio that gives us the popular movies, had said that there would be only one BD flick even after actor BooBoo Stewart (Seth Clearwater) confirmed what most fans hoped for and had been assumed - there would be two movies.

Previously, author Stephanie Meyer said in an interview with MTV that she knew right where the film should be split - if it were to be made into two films and at that time seemed genuinely happy to have a two part ending to the saga. In January however, it was reported that Meyer could not “decide whether or not [making two movies] is the right thing to do creatively” and perhaps there was tension between the studio and creator. Meyer, who has given few interviews over the past year, issued a denial regarding any problems between herself and movie executives but it did make you wonder what was the problem?

After all the hoopla and behind the scenes drama, two movies will be made. An official announcement is due as early as next week. No director has been chosen (Chris Weitz, New Moon’s man in charge, has passed) and filming/production dates will need to be nailed down for all the actors - especially Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning and Ashley Greene who have lots of offers and other commitments.

The third film, Eclipse is due in theaters June 2010, and the first full length trailer was rumored to be attached to Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, opening this weekend (February 12th) however that has been debunked.

This is something that will enrage many of our Twi-hard readers! The NY Post prefers Paul Wesley’s “The Vampire Diaries” over Robert Pattinson’s “Twilight Saga” simply because it has more blood, sex and sensual villains. Can’t we just love both for their different styles on a love/love triangle vampire’s story!?!

There’s only one small detail I really don’t get! Why do vampires have to sparkle in the sunlight? It just goes against everything I knew about vampires… I guess that highlights Stephenie Meyer’s creativity!
