Nickelodeon hosted their upfronts (the annual gathering for networks to showcase their programming and performers to the press and television stations) with major teen star power on hand. Justin Bieber sang two songs while Miranda Cosgrove and Victoria Justice promoted their TV shows, iCarly and Victorious! to the audience.

What a great picture of the three teen superstars. Check out Bieber’s performance of ‘Baby’ below and get ready for him and Rihanna to perform at The Kids Choice Awards on March 27th. Victorious! premieres that night after the awards show.

Actor Taylor Lautner graced the red carpet with his breathtaking presence (ok, I’m exaggerating… a bit!) at premiere of the movie “The Runaways” held at Cinerama Dome Arclight Theaters in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 11).

The Twilight hunk was there to show his support to the girls. SWEET! Taylor opted for a casual look – jeans, shirt and leather jacket! Pure hotness!! Anyway we still love to see him in an elegant suit but this look is hotter… don’t you girls think?

Actress Kristen Stewart wore a sexy rock hot pink dress to the much anticipated premiere of the movie “The Runaways” held at Cinerama Dome Arclight Theaters in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 11).

Both Dakota Fanning and Kristen looked fantastic – one wearing hot pink the other wearing a darker shade of silver, which combined well on the red carpet. The real “Runaways” Cherie Currie and Joan Jett also posed with their “impersonators”. The big surprise on the red carpet was the presence of Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner.

Actress Kristen Stewart, who is currently promoting her new movie “The Runaways”, was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and the two ended up talking about her recent Oscar experience (watch video below).

Kristen admitted she was too nervous but was very proud to have survived that night with a little help from her friend, Taylor Lautner (photos). Kristen said, “This will be baffling to a lot of people, but I was so proud of myself that night! I was like, whoa! I didn’t, like, fall down or anything!”

Actor Taylor Lautner will be taking off his shirt for his new role in the upcoming movie, “Abduction”. According to Life & Style, the movie script includes a steamy scene where Nathan (Lautner) takes off his clothes as his love interest Karen (possibly played by Taylor Swift! We wish!) takes care of his wounds after he is injured in an explosion.

I have the feeling we will all want to run to the movie theaters to see this movie! And if there’s a Lautner/Swift love story, it will be even hotter. Will you be watching any of the Twilight stars’ non-Twilight movies? Robert Pattinson’s “Remember Me” or Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning’s “The Runaways”??

Robert Pattinson is making the press rounds to promote his film with Emilie de Ravin, Remember Me. The actor gave Parade magazine a view into his thoughts on asking a girl out on a date, James Dean comparisons and meaningless celebrity. Here is an excerpt:

Dating good, asking girls out, not so good: “When it comes to the opposite sex, I’m not as fully confident as the guy I play. I don’t even remember the last time I asked someone out on a date, like, just went up to them and that’s the first thing I did. I’m much more self-conscious and not wanting to fail. So I tend to hold back.”

The James Dean influence, also good: “I think he was like the most influential person for young guys, especially actors, in the last 50 years. So yeah, I mean, I’m not ashamed to say I am very much influenced by him.”

Finding balance with work and privacy: “You keep trying to make your name stand for something other than just like meaningless celebrity. It’s a difficult battle, but I think people like Johnny Depp have done that. He’s not judged by his public image, it’s just his acting that counts. To get to that place takes a lot of discipline and a lot of hiding.”

Victoria Justice has a lot to smile about. Her new show, Victorious! is set to debut on Nickelodeon, March 27th, following The Kids Choice Awards. She recently turned 17 and passed her drivers test and is the March cover girl for Lá Teen. She is also the latest teen actress to cover Inspire Magazine. From the interview:

What do you hope to achieve this year and the coming years?

I just achieved one of my goals for this year and that was to get my driver’s permit. I just passed the day before my birthday, so that was very cool. I’m also looking forward to passing my driving test in six months and getting a regular license.

Professional goals would be to really start working on my music, (writing more), when the show wraps in April. As for the coming years, I always want to keep working on the craft to be the best actor that I can be. The same goes for music. I just want to keep learning and trying new things. I just would like to keep working on projects that I’d be proud of.

Hilary Duff, best known as the squeaky clean Disney teen Lizzie McGuire, is branching out - into teen writing. The actress is set to pen a series of young adult novels, starting with Elixir; due in October of 2010. The novels have photojournalist Clea Raymond as the heroine who uncovers mystery, danger and romance while globe trotting.

Says Duff, “I’ve always loved the escape of a great book, especially one that features a strong, inspiring female character you feel you really understand, someone who could be you, but living a more fascinating life. I’m hoping Elixir will be that kind of book-a novel that will transport readers and open new worlds for them.”

Duff is working on a non-fiction tome too. Stories from children of divorced parents and the obstacles they overcome will be the focus of her other work, to be published in 2012.
